Do you have some prior history with him lol? My only encounter with torte was in the McGill starcraft club in 2010, I just remember him being a bit “evangelical” about esports.

scratching the story till mid season a bit: + Show Spoiler + watching the characters grow up (except like the senior highschoolers who look identical) is pretty fucking cool. But the story up till the start of EP4 is a bit too forced imo. Can't really put it differently than that. The whole roller skate alley thing was basically void one Episode later. Doesn't yet seem to matter at all - and apart from showing a rift between characters it just feels, pointless? Oh and Nancy is not phased by her colleague dying at all or what? Strange, huh?

yeah it was good, great villain great feeling, but alot of character plot holes, like nancy doesnt give a fuck about anything then steve tells her he wants to have 4 kids with her she doesnt react then she just chills with jonathan and nothign gets resolved from earlier and nothing at all? also i didnt like at all how it was 1 main story then 3 seperate side stories that they forced together in the last episode but they still didnt have any contact with each other pretty much still if u cut everything that happened outside of hawkins nothing wouldve changed about the season except cut it in half I liked the vecna killing stuff alot, it was very creepyish and had a great feeling

Massive spoiler ahead. + Show Spoiler + To harp on the series being spread over many locally separate scenes a bit: at one time I counted 5 different places where things were happening. That was a bit much for me, felt like the urgency of a situation, i.e. when Nancy, Steve and Robin were captured, they hang on the wall suffocating for like 30 minutes while shit hits the fan and whoops, suddenly get rescued by a flamethrower on the other side of the world. All thanks to hive mind. While hive mind is too dumb to just, you know, kill em? Having these relentless hunters, big bats and stupid vines controlled by Vecna while displaying such difference in effectiveness is a weird artistic choice. I wonder why they couldn't do that more elegantly. I see how it's a vehicle for tension while Max is haunted but the resolution of it was rather disappointing. That being sad, the ending had me tearing up a bit. Dustin telling the heroic tale of Eddies end (whose motivation is a bit weak [doesnt wanna be a coward) and feels little credible; Dustin even says that the town he defended hated him, so why tf was he doing it?) and everyone reuniting in the old cabin was nice. The end makes me a bit worried for a fight-heavy final season. This was not the strength of Stranger Things in my book. Nicely paced and deliberately placed climaxes, but lets not go DBZ on that one

Supposedly got his start in acting by taking classes in prison after robbing discos at gunpoint as a Colombo Family associate. If you haven't watched the sopranos, do so.

Enjoyed the long episodes also and it was cool to cap off the whole thing with basically a movie, especially after waiting so long for the season I enjoyed it too, tremendously so. Kinda glad I got to see it while ill with covid because of what EMU said lol. Now I'm done with it over the course of one month of Netflix. Watching Witcher Season 2 now. Kinda makes me wanna play again but nah, have done that too many times. Can't wait for the successor though, although Geralt is a great protagonist imo. I remember when he was possessed in hearts of stone he was running around all smiling. And it looked so weird. not because of the animation but because Geralt rarely smiles. Good stuff.
