I kinda get that trajectory, he is very sociable by nerd standards. I remember like 9 years ago, his stream with crazy league player XJ9. My favorite Destiny era was probably DayZ. He made that game look so much fun. | ||

In all honesty a lot of gamers on twitch are more educated and up to date on current issues than a lot of politicians are. The idea of e-celebrity is that they're influencers, so politics is an extension of that. I agree with TheEmulator, I think a young people are probably well vested in political discourse. I remember there was this old survey that the Daily Show viewers are more informed on news than most CNN/Fox News viewers. I suspect gamers on twitch have at least a passing understanding on political discourse. | ||

pretty sure I deleted those comments from reddit years ago but let the record reflect that I had more upvotes than him (I was also pretty surprised to learn that he still had a big career being...a guy on twitch.) The slap is real weird. Just an odd decision, that. | ||
