It's a rarity seeing someone take care of any other person on public transport. If being considerate is a weakness to be exploited I just wanna get the fuck out of there. I mean, big city and all. People are so overworked, stressed out, obviously tired, annoyed by 1hr commutes that nobody gives a shit about anyone else. Put your blinders on, elbows up and push through. If you can bypass all the negativity - which I try to do in summer by cycling, though this also sucks ass as getting honked at for no fucking reason is the norm - then it's a cool place to live. But fuck me I can't deal with people being shite to strangers. Why tf can't you be polite to people that aren't your friends. Oh right, because it would make everyones life better. If it's not just for me, fuck that. Self indulgent, self centered assholes that are so fucked by capitalism that they don't care about nothing that's not themselves, friends or family. | ||
