I could see this patch being kinda ass for pos1 and pos3 atm. There's enough strange shit going on mid that you'd get some variety, but I could definitely see those two positions being worse than they have been in the past, not better.

There's enough strange shit going on mid that you'd get some variety, but I could definitely see those two positions being worse than they have been in the past, not better. i play all positions but i ended playing mid and 3 and 5 for whatever reason this patch out of necessity for my now-RIP stack. i actually enjoy 3 the most in this patch because theres so many stupid strength heroes if i do start up current dota2 now i just play turbo which IMO is way better at getting to the heart of what modern dota2 is and as a bonus also ends faster on average | ||

Even tho i dont like it that much overall, i think it's fun because of the said rng, but when it comes to competitive, there's too much on the line for that... Imagine winning TI because you got Apex with a morph on your team, the other team can't predict that. | ||

The problem i think is when a team is behind mostly then picks up some crucial neutral items like i have seen so many times an underfarmed w33ha from the minor and major comepletely just goes straight for the big items and is unaffected by the problems he had earlier in the game because of the neutral item pretty much fills him up with items for armor/damage/stats as if he was never behind in the firstplace. It is a problem for progames but isn't much for players like me. It is even more random runes but at least runes can be controlled and expected which gives a room for outplay if you want that advantage. Neutral items pretty much gives advantage according to icefrogs desire completely | ||

Honestly I think netural items just need to avoid dead items. Iron talon and PMS feel like they have a lot of situations where they're just useless to your team. Also shovel needs charges so it's not just unanimously the most appealing t1 drop. | ||
