Recommended 150GB for RDR2 on PC, Jesus. Yeah, not going to get it because I don't want to blow through my metered net and spend two days downloading. One of the rare scenarios where my gigabit ethernet will come in handy heh heh it's a 90gb download for the consoles so hopefully it won't be much more for pc

The TL thread about the HK-Blizzard matter is a complete dumpster fire. The amount of no-post accounts suddenly arising to come to the defence of China should alone be a big red light to stop.

When you're that deeply entrenched and indoctrinated into the CPC (or let's be real any kind of ideology) and refuse to believe anything outside of a Party mouthpiece, everything else is biased Western propaganda that can't be trusted. It's mental programming to an insane level, and a very potent one.
That one very vocal China apologist in the thread is amusing in how he runs down the whole gamut of bad faith arguments like whataboutisms, Tiananmen Square denial and ridiculous analogies with his walls of near-incomprehensible words. It's like straight up scripted. He also has one weird way of typing out everything which makes deciphering his text such a pain.

The demands for those who don't know
-Full withdrawal of the extradition bill from the legislative process -Retraction of the characterisation of the protests as "riots" -Release and exoneration of arrested protesters -Establishment of an independent commission of inquiry into police behaviour -Universal suffrage for Legislative Council and Chief Executive elections -Resignation of Carrie Lam

Hong Kong and the NBA are just a continuation of this struggle. You are like a high school student. Disappointed The way he added disappointed randomly at the end reminds me of some dumb trump tweet lmao.

It's weird If he's completely apolitical I don't really see an issue. If he's spreading uninformed opinions occasionally then it's a major issue (although then he's technically not apolitical at that point).
Honestly I don't have a problem with someone being completely apolitical. Some people have different priorities in life.

Shes a good friend and I'm not saying I have a problem with it, it's just strange. She generally just follows the chinese party line if someone presses her. It's almost like it's a deliberate disinterest to avoid having a controversial opinion. Her parents are party members in Shanghai, and iv been wondering if they deliberately tried to raise her as apolitical to protect her, since having unpopular political opinions could be detrimental to her career

At least, in a sense. And typically not in a favorable way.
