I'll accept that animating a wolf being pet is hard. Just say its hard and they didn't have the time to get it right.

This looks cool. If I ever get enough disposable income to drop more than $300 on this, I might consider it when they ship to NA.

Yeah I can only play few hours of games like every few weeks nowadays. How did i sink in so much time in dota like years ago i couldn't even understand now. Like everything right now is split between socialization, other hobbies(reading books, TTRPG, internet, boxing etc), work, training. Like i basically make a pie-chart of how much hours i spend on each in my head almost all the time. Idk how i got time for dotes and school/work plus socializijng before. Wish i just spam dotes like for something with so much negativity. I can't deny it is fun even if it was emotionally taxing

My ideal, pie in the sky version of Dota/street fighter/starcraft/Titan fall or whatever is one that is like an amateur basket ball league, where working people go on the weekend to play against each other. There are teams and its fine if a couple people are way better than everyone, because you just split those players up. But that would require Dota to be as easy to pick up as basket ball and for me to find 9 other like minded people who were not all over the globe to do it.

But even beyond that if you can only play 1 game you're really taking a chance, there's a pretty high odds that your game is going to be one of those ones where your teammates are toxic + bad and you just get stomped into the ground without being able to find much space to do anything interesting. Those stomps still take up all of your free time, but make a really unsatisfying experience. That's a reason why I quit. Getting enjoyment out of free time without it being a hassle is rather important if you have little of it

I found that to be a bit of the opposite really in some ways, or at least more complicated. If I play a carry (but not mid) I can use my game knowledge to run efficient farming patterns and even if my early last hits were weak I could make up for it. But as support it's really important to be able to maximize what little farming time you have so if I'm missing last hits or pull & stack timings I'm really missing out. So I was often ending up as super poor support in situations where I'd otherwise have the opportunity to get a bit of gold and have some farm. It'd be really interesting actually if there was some sort of casual/weekend like league you could automate in these games (like sign up for a time slot and then get to play random games from a limited match pool during that time). I think you'd have the problem of people cheesing their way into or not enough people showing up it so it'd never work, but it'd be an amazing feature if you could pull it off.
