Battlefury is a good build on Medusa and PA farms jungle faster than AM. How can you possibly doubt Shikyo's personal anecdotes where he won games.

I am not a dota1 player but a single anecdote proves absolutely nothing. well reasoned arguments based on statistics and practical strategy are preffered.

It's not just any personal anecdote man....it includes a B+ iCCup player.

I'm all for unconventional builds, but if they don't make sense and don't have mechanical advantages then I don't really get the point. It's completely inefficient.

Hmmm...
Of course those are low level pubs but I found that I could do more things earlier with a battle fury rush on medusa whereas with a linkens rush I felt like I dealt no damage until a second item (Though obviously there probably is a better offensive alternative than a battle fury) Also I'm not actually saying that I think it's an objectively good build but it kind of works for me... or used to.
I still am a bit doubtful about Medusa not doing anything until megalate, though. Her nuke is incredible and spammable and she pushes like crazy. Fast pushing AD carry should be able to be relevant even without incredible right click damage, especially with the kind of a nuke she has... Lane harrass with mana drain while having infinite mana hmhm... As a bonus she's immune to Sven and Vengeful Spirit stuns for instance, maybe it's a viable counterpick?

There are new-age medusa builds involving stuff like treads aquila drums yasha that allows for the hero to be reasonably strong midgame, but at that point u might as well use luna~

sick read. Very insightful if anyone care about the sides of competitive gaming as well as team building.
Btw, i just realize how emotional EHOME and LGD look during the drafting phase of their games. Each of their members has pretty unique facial aspect that characterize them pretty well. The way they show their emotions during the draft is also a beautiful sign on how much they care and love the game.

Looking at graphs of information from public games i have discovered that:
Wind runner, Invoker, Morphling, enchantress, shadow demon, queen of pain, invoker and lone druid all have a sub 50% win rate, obviously these heroes need to be buffed, the stats speak for themselves!
