Iceiceice definently won that game but he made it seem that no qw invoker had high impact

Talking with Bulba at TI2 and he thinks for QW Invoker Phase -> Force -> Hex is good build. Eul's and Drum's are relatively unnecessary. Watching a lot of the Chinese Invokers, they go the same build as he described. Of course, if you can't farm well early on then I guess Hex isn't what you will be aiming towards.
Also I wanted to see more 430 Invoker. But no go.

i think there will be changes to force staff next major patch anyway. The fact that your teammate could drag you out of a chain stun made that item way too cost effective to skip out. We even see a boot of speed rush force staff naked AA in a game.
Also as im talking about next patch: since people are asking for 6th ban slots, do you think that is a good idea? Personally i think its completely stupid as we could just nerf the top tier down a bit instead of dragging out the draft stage.

Hell, I think it's fine without nerfs.

We definitely want more viable carries than we have now, and the less must ban heroes the better. The only 1st ban hero that doesn't necessarily need nerfs is furion. The next patch will be very interesting, stuff might shift around quite a bit as TI is the first tournament of this size and I'm sure Icefrog was looking closely how to improve the game

If they added a 6th ban slot what would it be? Would it be 4 bans in the first ban phase I assume? Otherwise if you do 3 and then 3 you don't change anything. They'll still be heroes who get through the first set of bans like they do now.

i think there would be changes to either Darkseer or Magtaur and im more in favor of changing mag. I was incredibly surprised when they nerf mag ulti while Darkseer is still in the pool and this is when radiance is a core on my darkseer and no one were using it. If icefrog buff mag and implement a new Pitlord, we might have some amazing stuff coming next patch.

Guessing that Naga gets nerfed in some way. Everyone hates her. That's my only prediction. To be fair about it though, I thought it was impossible to remove net til synderen mentioned that ghost scepter removes it, but all of her skills are exceptionally good and she has a super high movespeed that helps to negate her melee status.
I mean you can either buff the heroes that aren't being used or nerf the ones that are being used. Icefrog seems to prefer a mix leaning towards buffing heroes that aren't used unless the usage/winrates of the heroes get ridiculous and then it's typically small nerfs or entire reworks if it's gone too far one way or the other.
There's also some big lan tournament in dota 1 coming up with IG vs LGD isn't there? Next patch is probably going to take that into account too, since there's still 18 heroes not implemented in dota 2.

Icefrog generally nerfs top bans and picks slightly while buffing everything else and remaking totally shit heroes that are played in neither pubs nor progames. Morph will for sure have some of his buffs from last patch reverted, there might also be a carry item introduced to make all carries more viable in one move. Nagas ult will see a significant change, slight nerfs to Lone druids bear pushing power(minor, I think he's only a bit to good at this) TC remake seems very likely, phoenix will get remade. DArkseers vacuum aoe seems the best way to nerf him. Lycan, maybe wolves movement speed and damage to towers. Further buffs to every range carry out there apart from morph

Why would TC need a remake? He's been seeing a decent amount of success lately.
|
Ice might not like the way he's played. He's skills are unlike any in dota, so it's not totally out of question. His ult is like totally ridiculous. But you never know with dota. And since you have access to all heroes, you never are enraged by patch notes

I love TC, i hope he stays in concept, i don't mind changes but i do competely adore his concept.

Also, Dark Seer received a bunch of buffs fairly recently. Reverting even the Ion Shell buff from 6.73 would probably knock him down from his pedestal. Hell, nerfing his insanely high starting armor might accomplish the same thing. 6.74 Wall of Replica illusions take 300% damage (up from 250%). Wall of Replica Aghanim bonus no longer creates allied illusions. Wall of Replica Aghanim bonus now increases illusion damage from 70/80/90 to 100/120/140% instead. 6.73 Ion Shell duration increased from 15 to 20. Ion Shell AoE from increased 225 to 250. Ion Shell cooldown increased from 7 to 10 Ion Shell damage increased from 30/45/60/75 to 30/50/70/90. Wall of Replica illusions are now semi-transparent to enemy players.

I think they should revert the furion buff where he can tp anywhere, tping to only places where you've had vision was much more balanced

is there an ETA on this next patch? (not a hero port, the next big change patch)

Dota patches or more valve time than valve products (except hl3/ep3, nothing beats that)
