Before Panda disbanded and 830 went inactive, he would go 2 ranks Treants->max Teleport. Lets you have Teleport up way more often in the level 5-7 range to gank/counter-gank. He also did that level 1 teleport stuff quite a bit, but be stopped doing it when other teams figured it out and it became pretty dangerous for him to do it in competitive games. The only reason max Treants with 1 rank Teleport is more common now is because of these farmy Hand of Midas builds. Though higher ranks of Teleport are still often seen--it's very situational. You need the mana pool and the levels to make this pressure happen, and Furion doesn't have this in the early game. Besides, in the early game, the lanes usually are well guarded. Getting faster farm/XP and try to convert ganks into pushes is the best alternative, I believe.

mana shouldn't ever be much of an issue on furion, generally you know how much mana you're gonna use early on in the game and can compensate with some extra mana pots u pretty much just tp and shoot out a couple of autoattacks, which is often enough to secure a kill (or at least force someone back) early on in the game nowadays it's mostly midas farm but ganking furion works pretty well

i missed the first part but essentially he either tped out or got sent back from chen when he released the hook, he managed to hook someone from their fountain and because he got sent back to his own fountain, the other other dude just floated from one fountain to the other.

yeah, Dendi on pudge with a Chen to send him back is something Dendi have done on his stream a couple of times before :D
|
That's a pretty common glitch/bug...one of my friends does this all the time...He even got featured in a dota top 10 moves or something for this :D

It's a feature. Last week's top 10 had a clip where a pudge + wisp waited at their own fountain for the enemy TA to respawn, then tp'd next to enemy fountain 12 seconds before she did, then hooked her right as they tp'd back. It was downright trolly/griefy, but I burst out laughing so hard when I realised what they were going to do.

Fountain Hooks have been a feature for a while now. You couldn't do it with Chen in Dota 1 because of how Hook works and doing it with Wisp was possible but really fucking hard to pull off.

Call me crazy but I'd swear it was possible in Dota 1 with Chen.

Anyone having this problem on pub matchmaking recently? (SE asia/Hong Kong server)
+ Show Spoiler +After I queue on the server (SE asia/Hong kong) and a match is ready, the finding server countdown resets to 0:01 and it takes 5 seconds before the option to Accept/Decline the game appears.
However for the past few days, when the countdown resets, it takes me sometimes up to 2 minutes before the Accept/Decline game option pops out, and sometimes, I lose the queue because I'm unable to reply on time. The game isn't hanging for me during this time as well.
I do not receive abandons for this as well and as far as I know, I'm not in any low-priority queue. I've tried restarting steam/Dota 2/ my pc to no avail. I was wondering if its a server issue or is there something I have to fix.
Private lobbies work fine as they are, so far Its only solo queue pub matchmaking that has this problem for me
this was basically what I asked steam support with some screenshots as well. Its just really a hassle since it makes the wait for a match even longer if I am unlucky enough to encounter this, don't really know what's causing it.

I choose BS because he looked cool, went mid because everybody say that's where I should go, give up first blood, ended up 3-18-15 with Tranquil boots, stout shield, Ring of Aquila, Crystalys and Wraith Band.
surprisingly, not a single abuse. Just 1 guy telling me to 'dont get balsy' when Im getting low health.
the next couple of games however ...... I hate people like you who can't play at least 2-3 bot games before playing against other people. well, the DOTA2 client back then is pretty un-intuitive. there's only a big play button that's enable (all the other button dont do anything) which will then show a big find match button . Tbh I didnt even know there were Bots in the game untill 20-30 games in (which by then I already know enough to keep my 48-50% win rate so whatever) though its funny seeing people raging on the noobs while the real people that have their time 'wasted' dont even say anything bad I'm not raging on you. I just think it is not fair for your team. If reading all the button is hard before you press something.. well...

That is also how fountain hooking work with Pudge + Wisp where Pudge would throw the hook before they Relocated out and anyone hit would get pulled back to the fountain, it was pretty funny to watch heroes just suddenly disappear and arrive in your fountain.

Ah I see.
I must admit I really miss hook + force staff, that shit was so much fun to do. I would give away chen + hook if it meant having hook + force staff back instantly.

I definitely remember seeing a video of na'vi fighting some no-name team and the team that wasn't na'vi was way behind 10 minutes in so their pudge just kept trying to hook as the chen tp wore off. He did it right and it didn't tp dendi back, and he yelled about it in allchat. Sorry but I'm just too lazy to look the video up. I think it's in lddota's youtube archive somewhere
