As we say "you can't blame them for having a good plan." You've just encapsulated the polar opposite to American foreign policy.

nothing probably they have their own livestream platform in youtube, they just wanted twitch for the name recognition

I think that's putting it a little too simply.

I'm thinking DailyMotion who are moving to make a game section similar to Twitch by the end of the year.

there's no way they will be allowed to buy dailymotion because of antitrust laws, dailymotion primarily does video on demand like youtube does

DM gives them nowhere near the reach that twitch did. probably ustream if anything

And folks, Matt is going on vacation for a month. I don't think he is leaving forever, or he might look to have a different role. Tobi and v1lat aren't in competition, though. They serve different markets. Just pure vindictiveness. Well, StarLadder (V1lat by extension) replaced joinDOTA with BTS a couple seasons ago and Tobi was not happy about that. Seemed like he found out when the announcement was made. There's plenty of dirty laundry in the scene. You got some personal beef with Tobi, tough luck, but he's by no means the only bad guy and the rest saints, as you're making it look like. IIRC, in an interview with hotbid/blitz, Blitz was vouching for BTS and had nothing bad to say about them.
I remember when BTS was doing their kickstarter, joindota wouldn't be a part of their video LOL.

If I was an attorney general and found out JoinDota was in Germany, I would just go after Twitch to make them force JoinDota to knock it off. Lawsuits and the attorneys filing them are like water, they travel along the path of least resistance to get what they want. And lets be clear, if the attorney general or state gaming commission of any state calls up Twitch, they will care. Its unlikely they will ever care, but once they do, its forever. Like marriage, or herpes.
Tobi getting arrested at the airport when arriving for TI5 would be possibly the best drama ever though. (It wouldn't happen, but just imagine.)

Ok, who is watching this 64 minute carry sand king sing sing game? It could have the best Abadon in the history of stupid games.

Sing living there was amazing. And it allowed that kill on Furion as well.

Slightly better than the 3 spell Invokers I am used to playing against. :p
