I never really played much of MH solo. But playing MH with a party is a hell of a lot of fun. Can't wait for MH4 so that launching people with my hammer swings can actually be useful now. | ||

And the guy who created Dark Souls prime, Hidetaka Miyazak, has been working on this since I think he finished Demon Souls. So of course the games look similar. It even has mist doors(fuck mist doors). | ||

My MHP3rd is pretty much fully geared, I have the best of every element+raw LBG/LS/GS/Bow lol. I totally loved the LBG in MHP3rd though, cant wait for the MH4 release too. The coolest part about Monster Hunter are the amazingly looking weapons and armor. I actually like running around with the Tyrant King(Sword of Three Kings in some english patches) event sword even though it's not the best weapon around, just because of how cool it looked. When you charge up the LS gauge power, it starts glowing and turns into a amazingly great looking weapon. Loved it to bits. The effects of armor sets are great too, you can build around them, mix and matching different sets can result in a stronger armor effect...along with charms etc. I've also joined a group in Singapore that meets up at a Cafe just to play Monster Hunter. Fun times, over 2000hrs clocked lol. | ||

And I'm sick of losing to terribly designed heroes like DP, Viper and Pugna that can just autowin lanes or press a button and win a teamfight. I credit Icefrog with introducing a lot of high-skill high-reward heroes like Windrunner, potm, Ember Spirit, Timbersaw, Magnus, Meepo etc but there are twice as many heroes that are terribly designed ezmode shit. There is no such thing as a bad DP. You press a button that deals a fuck ton of damage to everything in a huge range and its up to the opponent to find some way of dealing with it. You do nothing. There's no skill involved. | ||
