SB? Already has charge for escape/initiation KOTL? Brood? If you aren't taking damage you are pretty much untouchable anyway Also seems pretty weird for someone like a weaver AA I could see it purely as a catching up tool to land your slow in chasing situations. Silencer doesn't really have any means of catching up/escaping ganks and his nukes aren't massive range so might have some uses | ||

I'd say AA is a good pick actually Writing off the escaping reason is pretty silly, as some people don't really need the added escape, like AM/Storm/Lycan/Brood/Weaver. Sure having the extra escape could be useful, but since these guys already having amazing escape tools, wasting an item slot that could of gone towards something else seems like more of a waste than getting it on someone like AA, who doesn't have any escape. Also, AA has more flexibility in his item builds as it isn't nearly as important for him to have a perfect item combo late game to fight the enemy carry. If it gets to 6 slots on both carries and your weaver wasted one slot on a blink that does nothing for him against the enemy carry then he will probably lose the carry v carry fight, where if your AA wasted it on a blink you could still actually win the fight? | ||

So because one or two redditors (which by itself isn't considered that good a community to begin with) were mad because dendi didn't entretain as much as Sing and Chat was sub mode (so he was also a twitch copypasta-er, another example of great community), the entire world is doomed. Ok. TBH I like to watch personal streams for the personality and I rather watch Waga or Sing because of that. If I want to watch srs doto I watch tournament stream | ||

He's just gonna have to reintroduce the mana cost. You can increase the cost to the point where it's not viable for anyone to get it, sure. You can increase the cooldown so that it becomes obnoxious to use. None of that changes the fact that any hero can get free mobility, and that's the best thing there is. And really, it's not all that BAD that it's in the game. The item's really cool, the mechanics are interesting, and the heroes that benefit from zero mana Blink are by far and large ones that offer interesting aspects to gameplay. Really, I'd just like a Shadow Blade buff so that it becomes a question again between the two items. Can you imagine how godawful DOTA2 would become if there wasn't any initiation? | ||
