It's a social/practical thing. If I only cared about taste, I would never drink beer. I would only drink wine. But as a man, you can't order wine in a bar without people assuming that you're homosexual. And wine doesn't have the same refreshing quality, although it is without a doubt the most tasty of alcohols. Difference in beers is just about like what tastes the least shitty. There's no such thing as a good tasting beer if you remove the refreshing quality and you compare it to 'actually tasty' beverages. | ||
