That's a really easy cop-out. I'm not saying I agree with the assessments, but neither the individuals nor the group can argue against their initial judgement.
It's just the nature of being the new kid on the block.

They put a lot of effort into playing, and while i highly doubt that they'll ever be a Tier 1 team, I have confidence in them to take some games off of Tier 1 teams and be a strong Tier 2 team, like roxkis or VP if they put a LOT of effort and time into improving.
I don't think your skepticism is warranted...There's plenty of great players and teams (I'm not saying that these guys or some of them) that have from your PoV come out of the woodworks but in reality many people in the scene have known about them for a while.
For instance, Excalibur wasn't just randomly picked up from a pub one day to play in an important match the next evening. Surely they may have met in a pub, but there's a LOT more going on behind the scenes that around scrimming, IHLs, and other matches that don't make it to popular news sites that you don't hear about.
If your opinion is solely based on stuff that you read on reddit, TL or any other news site then chances are your opinion is trite and just an echo of what's already been said a thousand times over...

Nonsense. They'd only played with him in pubs, they just picked him because he was high on the leaderboards
andyrau queries: MashutaTrill, are you their manager or something

Oh my god, that's probably one of the funniest things ever. I have never seen that posting style before.
As far as Root goes: if they perform, they perform. If not, then there you go. I mean hey, it's a group of guys who like playing with one another. That seems totally fine in my eyes.
