I think this is the most complete list of teams possible. (Although the ranking should probably just be disregarded in favor of other more salient factors such as stability and overall performance). I think Valve is being slow about inviting teams because of instability in teams. Na'vi and DK have been some of the most stable teams in the past year so Valve can feel safe in inviting them, which can not be said of many of the other teams. I mean Na'Vi were pretty much a guaranteed invite, but their stability is likely the reason they were the second invite. Ehome as runner-ups should be guaranteed invites as well but with their whole drama the team may be entirely different within a month. The NA teams will probably be declared last because there won't be any passport issues for them to travel to Seattle (even though some of them have a canadian player getting a visa from canada is far different from getting one from China to the US). So Col/newQuantic/EG are likely to be the last declared invites. (Maelk's already wandering around the US, so he clearly has a passport or has to be doing some real shady shit). Virtus Pro I agree is also a very likely invite given they perform up to their potential. Dskbn is another possibility, not sure if they'll get counted as NA or SEA (Philippines team that performed well in HoN and has been incredibly stable).

There is a TM there because they have the trademark. Blizzard is opposing it, the suit is probably still ongoing, that doesn't mean they won or lost, but right now Valve has the trademark.

MUFC and Mineski in dragonborn list is kinda misplaced. Pretty sure there was some news about Filipino dota is now completely dota1 due to the scene explosion in their country so they wont be practicing dota2. Both sides have just under 2 more weeks to finalise their first initial submissions to the court. While the case is still being held, since Valve filed for the trademark, they can say whatever they want until the court says otherwise if it determines so.

As far as I know the rankings are arbitrarily decided by gg.net staffers

If it is in dispute then yeah you can use it until the decision is made Which it has been, according to Bashiok on Twitter and the articles out like 20 mins ago Anyways, Orange and AL make sense. Zenith and CLG are pretty much two of the last few "locks" maybe mineski to appease the filipino scene. It's going to be a serious dogfight for the western teams now. Quantic ex-quantic itsgosu coL EG mouz mTw M5 Darer Virtus.Pro Next.kz (which, i don't think they'll get in unlike someone who posted earlier, i forgot who) DTS Fnatic etc.

You mean they both made a decision to not be ridiculous and spend tons of money on a legal team to disrupt one another? What is the world coming to?
