Because of the increased gold flow, they're actually quite winnable if they happen early enough (they would be winnable later too, but DotA 2 doesn't unmute items owned by DCed players the way DotA 1 does, so a player who bought too many items before DCing ties up a lot of gold that could have been recovered in DotA 1). | ||
