The heroes come online at fantastically different parts of the game (tiny has a big hole in his power curve around when he finishes aghs where his magic burst drops off heavily and his physical damage isn't there yet). CK also has a lot more flexibility among his first 2-3 major items (Drums and Armlet you mentioned, but an early BKB, Halberd, Vanguard, or even S&Y can be considered) which makes each timing individually more impactful. Tiny's item development is somewhat less flexible (he more or less needs to block out 4.2k gold in his first 2 major items to buy Agha), but he really comes together when he has Agha+AC or Agha+Manta. Honestly CK doesn't even need to fight as late as Drums+Armlet. Treads+Drums+level 8 (double maxed nukes) is CK's first major strong point, it's just that unless the early game went really well, Wisp is usually not level 6 yet in a trilane when CK hits level 8, so they farm to the next major item because botching the Drums+level 8 timing without Wisp level 6 is really damaging to CK's tempo. CK is underrated IMO - he's a hero that scales really evenly in having a really strong earlygame (though weak until ~level 5 I'd say), a really strong midgame, and a very strong lategame if he is kept in the game. He really hinges on having a good first few fights, however, but I don't see why this hero isn't played right now. Maybe too dependent on laning phase?
Probably just forgotten.

CK farms slow as fck. But wisp solves that pretty well by just tping into fights and then back to farm etc. Why CK wisp died idk

CK and Tiny just have different timings. CK is stronger in lane. Tiny is slightly stronger 8-11 due to superior burst even though CK has more damage over the entire duration of a Wisp Relocate. CK is stronger after all the way until Tiny gets Aghs+1 since an Armlet+BKB core up to level 16 is just so hard to deal with. After Tiny has enough attack speed, his cleave starts outdpsing CK even with illusions AND his backdoor potential (where his real strength lies) goes through the roof. Even then CK still has a pretty stellar late-game aside from against ES (either one) and great base-breaking potential (just less so than Tiny).

Tether not stunning made the reality rift + tether combo significantly weaker.

Listen to Alur people he's the #1 Wisp/CK Picker EU. 100% LPCL winrate as well, he knows his stuff.

Pls, as if he used it just in LPCL.
Also was plenty good against pro level talent in pubs IIRC

The #1 Picker EU thing meant pubs.

yeah the multiples nerfs on wisp really hurt ck

I can vouch for Alur's CK/Wisp pickrate being 100% over the span of 1 TLIH played with him.
This was pre tether nerf too

Wisp nerfs and people realizing you can combo Wisp with other carries that are generally stronger than CK. I think over time teams stopped hinging their strategy heavily on relocate ganks and starting pairing Wisp with heroes like Alch, LS, Gyro that were more versatile but still powerful with relocate.
Also someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought reality rift was changed a long time ago so it would pull CK + opponent in a way that didn't guarantee an instant tether stun

you're wrong about the last part

What do you guys think are the odds of us getting a patch on the test client today?

bone7's stream is pretty cool. Better music than most Dota 2 streamers, imo. Good play obviously, he talks during the stream, enjoyable overall.

I bone7 should have no problems getting a visa for TI4, he didn't want to apply for a visa for MLG because they frown upon too many visa applications in a short span of time.

Did anyone else notice what bone 7 did before that game started, so tryhard
For those that didn't see. He goes into a custom lobby and picks the hero he wants, then leaves, then queues for a game. This is so he can insta pick that hero in his game because the hero picker will be on the last picked hero.
