seems like smurf detection working as intended, look at his first 2 games.

This is the best kind of dota. Unfortunately people are too fucking serious to enjoy random dota madness play -AR? and tbh from what ive got so far the solo mmr is kinda pointless anyways. just way too many games that get decided by who got the worst picks/feeders in their team. next thing is how bad the decisions are and if thats not enough then it actually becomes a real match. id say about 75% of the ranked matches i could play half or twice as good and it wouldnt make a difference on the outcome of the game.
ar is a retarded mode, 99% of the time you end up with 4 teammates that can't play the hero they just randomed or whoever gets a better lineup wins. The difference to one or two people randoming is that the rest of the team can actually pick around that and pick a decent lineup.
Your mindset is bad, if you don't think that you can make a difference why do you even play in the first place? Even if it was true (hint it is not) it would still be a bad mindset.

I random more with my friends party for obvious reason, not solo ranked though LOL

There's definitely something fishy with the random system. There's not much point talking about it though because everyone disregards it as 'random is random', but everyone I know who regularly randoms agrees it's wonky.

Definitely, I don't believe it's random at all.

if random wasn't random it would feel random

I think there is (or was) a bug that you can get the same hero few times in a row. Getting the same hero more than twice in a row is absurd and happened to me many times.

well so i played a game, we were losing, i was dead so i tabbed out and forgot im still in a game now im low prio for 5 games .______.

I remember a lot of people complaining about WC3 Dota random not being random, and the same thing happens in every other game, so you can't really blame skeptics. Who knows, random never feels random anyway, so without actual numbers there's really nothing that can be discussed. Regardless, it's very likely you end up randomning the same hero twice a few times if you play a lot of Dota.

Technically computers can't do true random number generation, but the difference isn't going to be noticeable unless we're talking quintillions of heroes or something absurd.

I don't know anything about the random system in Dota. But people are really good at inventing patterns in randomness.

Blizzard hacked doto!?

The current random seems truly random to me but about 6-12 months ago when I would random a lot it definitely didn't seem to be.
Of course, it's very easy for random things to appear not random.
