When you lose the first racks you're pushing top. If you stop Lycan from racking you're just delaying the inevitable because you have no way to engage a fight and you're not going to win a base race. If your team wasn't chasing the death prophet and was able to hold off the push while you pressured top lane I'd say that is the right play, but death prophet ^_^ You end up losing racks for nothing. You could have gone back to defend much sooner (right after taking the tier 2), since your team wasn't in a position to defend. Then you trade your middle racks for their tier two tower; dive the tier fours and toss the rapier. You've got absolutely no chance at a base race and you're constantly taking chip damage on your base from a Death Prophet that you have no way to catch so you're on a clock regardless. Maybe the charge up the middle was a best of the worst plans and you hope your team can hold off the push while you throne. You could have teleported back to help defend, but you have to go for the throne at some point or another. | ||
