Ok this is completely conjecture but has anyone noticed that the quality of games since patch has gone way down? Way more people who I never used to encounter like auto attacking lanes and single pulling supports etc. Not complaining just curious if anyone else is noticing this?

Nothing too extreme. Couple of questionable plays, but hey, I was tired as hell and making questionable plays too. Par for the course.

A lot of teams aren't practicing right now, and the rest are experimenting.

EE is the marmite of the the DotA 2 competitive scene--people either like him quite a bit or really dislike him (I am unfortunately on the side of the latter). No one can question him on his dedication and resolve but it is more along the lines of personality. I would say that I prefer idra's attitude over EE's but that is mostly because I (and many others) have witnessed his more ambitious and nicer side.
With EE, I have only seen one side which is most likely my own fault (and bias) but sometimes you just do not like someone.

You're just playing confirmation bias now.
Idra has told people that he wished them cancer. Is that any different than telling someone to go kill themselves?
Are you in any position to judge whether either of those things carries more weight?

Deso works fine, I like butterfly but that is because if fast enough, can get in standard hits during ult.
