Yes I thought so too. The XP gained is dependent on game length and then just multiplied by bonuses.

I actually thought about this 6 months ago or so why they hadn't done this. But I came to the conclusion that it might be too distracting. Seems to work alright though, will take a while to get used to. Don't like how the ultimate icon is still green, looks clowny (or I suppose christmasy) over the red healthbar. | ||
