It's silly to criticize teams as good as IG (and probably a year ago, people were saying the same thing about XBOCT) about farming at the wrong times, when we're just pub players. It's one thing to talk about mechanical mistakes, but to say we have this much deeper understanding of carry strategy is ridiculous.

I just realized Vlad's Offering only applies to melee units... getting it while being the only melee (Abaddon support) was kind of stupid I suppose. But hey, we won the game anyway.

only the lifesteal. the armor, mana regen and +dmg is applicable to all

Vlad's is incredible. 15% bonus damage and 5 bonus armour in an aura is really, really good.
I'd put Vlad's not too far behind Mek in terms of support items a team should have. I feel it's really undervalued.

I say this all in hindsight after everything went down. I've watched iG and it happened in 2012 too, it just worked out better because morphling is really good in those situations. There's also a reason why zhou had less GPM than sylar or burning on average and that was a big part.

Hey, I've been trying to get into DotA, but alone it's so god damn frustrating. I mean I have a general idea what most of the heroes do - I played DotA back in the olden days of Viper op in mid, "Divine Aegis"-Clinkz and the like. Is there a group of TL.netizens who play while on skype/teamspeak with whom I could do a couple games? I'm in Europe.

If possible, the carry himself shouldn't get it at all. If the support gets it, its like giving the carry an extra item slot.
