Yeah, defending a team equals propagandizing. And I'm sorry I didnt listen to a hour long interview (I usually only read transcripts, because its much easier to read and skim through). Also earlier that week according to commentators, Kaipi demolished a top tier team in a scrim using axe in under 15 minutes, so I assumed they had practised the hero earlier. Just because you draft a hero out of the blue, doesnt mean that you dont have practise with him. He might have been a surprise pick in the draft, but they surely had experience running it.

Anyway I don't think A needed 3 days to prepare for Axe. Axe ! Just pick some good heroes and you're ready for Axe =P Seems KP didn't have a master Axe plan, they just thought that it would be a good situational hero.
KP is sure a current hot team (and there is only 2, A and KP, not saying they're on the same level, just saying they have coherent results, and they don't lose against random teams left and right like VP, fnatic, Navi etc. who are losing a lot of random games they "should" in theory win)

Axe isn't a trojan horse, there's no reason to believe that A got any more of an advantage than KP did due to the break.

Thats the point I was making as well. I'm not even remotely suggesting KP is the best team right now. They have to win atleast a couple of major LANs (like Dreamhack and maybe StarLadder and Top 4 International), before we even mention them in the same ranks as [A] or Na'Vi. But saying that they just beat a bunch of nonames to reach a hot streak is just ignorant, and frankly disingenuous. Heck they even beat top teams even before TI3.

That's what Envy is great at though as a captain, managing resources on the map. But they still didn't really get all that much out of the wisp anyway.

They were probably playing out of their comfort zone. It goes back to needing your support to also be a good wisp player.
Aui had to play the Rubick for Pieliedie to play Wisp.

Well it also wasn't an especially good wisp line-up to encounter (chen/abba/qop/naix/bounty, KP with no real disable other than rubick lift) even disregarding that Alliance are, as we know, very good at playing against Wisp.

That's the other thing about Alliance is that they're the best team when it comes to playing with and against Wisp. Just look at the drafts and how easy it was for s4 to outdraft his enemies. Bulldog's signatures heroes are consistently banned and Alliance are one of the only capable teams of using Wisp.

HLTV claims (although I can't find a source) that part of this will be a 57,000 euro CS:GO tournament. Although in the owners statements they say they want to do CS/Dota2/League as well.
Most of the references made by the guy are about Dota / TI, so I'd imagine there will be something coming from them along with the official announcement of the other stuff.
Could be interesting, don't really know what the plan is here other than that they are working with inferno online and will be some sort of pro/am tournament, which doesn't say much. Could just be a feeler to see what kind of potential there is in the market. Or maybe they're looking to get a product together for TV after recent endeavours into eSports from TV6 / SVT. (although I doubt it at this point)
