The evidence is overwhelming. If [A] loses a game, clearly they are weaker than before and the next team in line to be the best is KP. I mean, they took second in TI3....wait....no they didn't. Well they are really good and should be number 1 because....the internet says so. | ||

The point is, the lower tier teams (KP/Poseidon/insert unsponsored team) will always take these games more seriously because they need to win all of these games to have their big break, to make their name and to get into TI4. Alliance doesn't have to give a shit about WEPlay or TPL or even StarLadder to the same capacity of these lesser teams. For teams like KP these events are life and death, to Alliance, they're just practice. | ||

TPL 4 G1 s5 DH Summer 2013 StarLadder 6 TPL 5 TI3 While powerhouse Kp has won...eizo cups and big point battles. These teams are not in the same universe, KP is an ant to alliance whether they win this random star ladder group match or not. I know KP is popular and everyone wants them to rule the world but they have a long way to go before they matter to teams like [A] Na'Vi etc. | ||

I'm no Alliance fanboy but I'm pretty sure every team sat down and poured over their replays to try to beat them, and they still came out on top. Until KP withstand that level of scrutiny they're just another team that's playing very well right now. | ||
