but yes Glados announcer = all my monies. Even if it just changed the final animation to the teleport to a portal, would be neat(blue outline for where you disappear, red for where you show up). Really, Dota 2 has a lot of options for neat stuff like that. I wouldn't mind seasons for the trees and ground, or if the shops were theme for Dota versions of the holidays. I would die if I came in one day and Roshan had a pile of partly blood, battered gifts in the corner of his pit that he had clearly been hording and then we could all darkly wonder where he got them. I'd love the floor below the hero to look like a portal (same ring as the current TP) which you fall through as the animation of TPing. Also, if you leave after someone abandoning does it effect your MMR?
Most likely yes especially if it is not an early abandon.

Well, its possible that the game affects your MMR somewhat dynamically based on leavers (I know HoN eventually implemented a system like that) but nobody really knows. It is certainly safe to say that it will somewhat change your MMR regardless of abandon status. Thats why some people hang in the game and hope their enemies all leave when an abandon occurs. Kinda dumb really but w/e.

Vanguard is legit on BB isn't it?

Armlet is just better if you have that much farm though. And drums are just better if you don't have that much farm. Its like "well the item does something just not enough" see: old SnY.
If vanguard was disassemblable it would go god-tier on bristle tho (assuming you were going pipe and/or heart at some point, usually a safe assumption on bristle).

Yeah, the problem with Vanguard is that your never going to get it in under 10 minutes in off lane, which is where BB normally ends up. Armlet is good and drums to make him faster, though that is a little redundant since he has his snot powers.

Racecar builds prove this.

Armlet's pretty meh on BB, tbh. It gives you a little bit of everything, but it's simply not a single-item game-changer for you, while being just a little too expensive to be considered early game filler.

The Snot handles the movement speed issue and someone else might be getting drums.

yeah,
armlet, euls, force staff, blink dagger, best build on every hero for wodota.

You forgot Ghost Scepter.

I still remember that shadow fiend from wodota with all of those items. Anyone still got the link around?

Armlet's pretty legit on bristle. Yes you need something to help alleviate your mana issues but beyond that its an incredible amount of survivability and bristle uses the right-click aspect very well. Plus it builds quite well too.
The thing is, In really short fights armlet is just a free 400HP or w/e for activating it (really good, outclasses other survivability items handily). If the fight is long and drawn-out then bristle is already in his element so as long as you are alive you are in business and this is where you can armlet toggle to great effect. The fact that its around 750EHP when taking damage from behind is pretty good too. The right-click parts are very much NOT "meh" on bristle and while it doesn't solve all his problems it really does do a lot for the hero.
The biggest issue then becomes that you need a way to later "recoup" the HP spent on armlet in fights, which bristle distinctly lacks. I'm willing to admit this but I don't think that it really disqualifies the item. I'm happy to hear arguments to the contrary but I was hoping they would be more substantiated than "Well the item isn't a game-changer so gg".
Obviously there are lots of situations where you can't farm an armlet in a short enough time-period for it to be particularly good. Thats fine but in that case you aren't really getting a vanguard either which is what I was recommending it over. I guess in that case you are buying a sange on the way to HH? dunno.

The 5% MS/AS aura is such a miniscule part of the item, and you're not using it properly if one person with drum charges lasts the whole game.
