DS: borrowed from the Dota2 meta, strong against a lot of the heros in the current Chinese meta and shown to utterly crush WE in the G-1 finals (admittedly this was pre-nerf), so should be pretty high for a while while teams adjust to it
TC: yeah, shit's pretty strong, and the ult is devastating in a meta that relies on facepwn heroes that just charge you
Terrorblade: This is pretty bullshit, though it'll take a team with the balls to pick it up and destroy with it before you'll see it banned
Morphling: Yeahok, we've nerfed all the old hard carries and buffed this, which has always had good midgame presence, but same as above in that he won't be banned until after some rape ensues
Rubick can be pretty gamebreaking. Thrall is not, though he has a lot of troll abilities. Not so sure about Wisp after his re-scaling nerfs, though he is very incredible with some heroes.

I think WE got dragged to a 1 hour game against DT.Club in Road to Starswar when they let Rubick through the bans. I just remember seeing one of those bullshit moments that only Rubick is capable of.
Rubick gets ganked 3v1 by Lina, Panda, and Earthshaker. Rubick steals Panda's ult, uses it. Kills Lina. Ult ends, Rubick steals Fissure from ES. Gets away.

Eh, I feel like that's just a huge misplay and the best case since iirc the old morphling spellsteal didn't work on Panda Ult, but basically with a decent amount of experience against it it'd be extremely rare to see Rubick to steal anything as broken as Panda Ult. Don't get me wrong I still think its extremely strong, but the unreliability factor and having nothing that goes through bkb makes me think it's not as gamebreaking as the hype makes it out to be)
Wheras I think thrall is somewhat underestimated, his field and ult are ridiculously strong in organized formational play and the troll factor of "HEY I HEAR U LIKE TPs" will basically give u a lot of advantageous teamfights and controll in the midgame
and yeah, no clue about wisp, its easy to theorycraft about abusing combos, but hard to say how well they'll ban out in practice in CWs

What makes Batrider so strong? What is it that he does in a teamfight? What does he do in the lane? What kinda lanes are he played in? Do the chinese farm him alot? What kinda items do they get on him?
So many questions!

So many questions! i think one of the best thing about batrider is that his ult goes through BKB

To add on top of that Batrider can build extremely tanky and clears creep waves quickly. I would say his biggest fault is if he loses in lane he will have a hard time catching up and getting core items and subsequently doing well in ganks. Farming a fast blink on him is very strong, but he can also just get tank items like vanguard and hood/pipe especially if his team has another good initiator.

Rubick is really tough on enigma, since he can steal black hole, enigma has to channel it, and steal pierces bkb.
Thrall is really good against a lot of heroes, especially now that the dota2 metagame has gone after a lot of escaping heroes. Blink/leap->glimpse. Windrun/shukuchi/surge->kinetic. And he destroys furion. He gets a lot weaker once you get counter items.
Moreover, if wisp ports on you, you can just send him or his ally back and reverse the gank.

That's actually one of his greatest strengths, even if he gets destroyed in lane he can just meander into the jungle and clear 3-4 camps at a time with correct stacking and firefly, leading to an early blink pretty much no matter what you do. Basically he's shown to have no real weaknesses and will always be able to lasso a guy while drowning your team in a sea of flames, if you add in the new improvements on flamebreak you'll see why he's so ridiculous

I still don't understand why people insist on upgrading their vit booster into vanguard on ranged heroes It doesn't give more HP and there are other routes to routes to the regen.
But that's just my opinion, of course.

I agree, buying up a plain vit booster or drums just seems far better than getting vanguard on ranged heroes.
