-There was a hero called Gambler which was removed. I read his skills in Playdota forums and apparently everything he did depended on how much gold he and other team's heroes have. I forgot about the details but he had a skill that could potentially hit for 2500, but also lose the same amount of gold.
-When Invoker had 27 spells, he could make everyone invisible around him and turn an enemy hero back to his team, like mind control. (O.o)
- Naix was an agility hero with built in attack speed, life steal, damage and I think also a form of rage or speed buff. Can't remember exactly the details right now, but his strength growth was apparently low or something, I don't really remember it.
Does anyone remember these? What other stuff you can tell? Naix wasn't agility, he was strength... He just had a really high agi gain like 4.15 if I'm not mistaken, and his str gain was really low... old naix was retarded 40% lifesteal Passive slow+poison +MS AS aura+40% 20 second BKB He was basically autowin. Pretty much like old spectre. Old naix couldn't lane, couldn't jungle and couldn't use a spell til he hits 6. His power in lane was worse than riki and meepo right now. His lifesteal was 10/20/30/40%, his slow was also 10/20/30/40% ms slow, his ms aura was something like 15-20% ms and 30-40% attack speed. His ultimate was a 15/20/25 second bkb with something like 5-25 damage bonus. It was pretty stupid if you played against people who could lane. You never got to lvl 6 in any amount of time. Except everyone in dota back then was so bad you could go to the lane with a set a tangos and sit in any lane because no one knew what regen was. Everytime I randomed him I bought 5 gauntlets and a tango. eziest games of my life. I don't know where you played, but once or twice in a day I got a decent game. But then again, I avoided playing open pub games. I mainly used to pub in the channels allstars and allstars/join allstars the last times I played dota 1. Yes, the name stems from spamming the command "/join allstars" twice.
If you really wanted, you could act all elitistic back then too. For example, open pub games were noticably less challenging to win than those with some kind of entry hurdle(like finding a channel).

Dear Dota 2 Movie Makers! since they removed the "demoui" option (which was a great tool for movie makers!) is there any other option to make "free camera movment" videos? hope you can help me there! thanks!

stream started laggin too, lol I guess I go do something else then.. ;_; Cause servers explode when so many ppl watch them games

Like I don't care right now, but if the games are going to lag like this in the playoffs it's gonna be bad for Valve.
Doubt they can just get new server clusters up and running in a few days ;;

Loda is going to get me some big juicy points...>_<

Loda didn't bring his best points last game. Just 6.9, as good as burning, and the game took forever. Still a bit mad I picked 2 scrub supports.

One hero I'm missing so far is Luna. Especially from DK, Alliance and the NA teams. TC doesn't lose games with Luna.

Time to see whether Korok maxes aura or charge first, dun dun dun...

Argument over.
Bash --> Charge --> Aura.
As an offlane SB, you'd probably go Charge --> Bash --> Aura.
Not that it should have ever been an argument in the first place. Aura just doesn't provide NEARLY enough to justify maxing over Bash or Charge, which both scale far better than aura.

The 1v1 tournament part that did not finish was rescheduled for Monday, right?

I remember meekly suggesting something to that effect a few pages a go, just to get shot down and destroyed so hard I didn't even post more than once.
Well, don't I feel vindicated now.

Honestly, the whole thing comes down to this
at level 7, your amount of disable will be identical, its just if you prefer to do more damage, or have a more reliable initation
|
Alliance close to being undefeated, will help my compendium prediction of at least 1 team to remain undefeated.
