The rating was made based on all the 10 teams present on the alienware cup, meaning each of the 10 teams get a 1 to 10 rating and the ratings can't repeat (i.e. if Burning is 10 as a carry, no other team can have a 10). That means BTS thought there were 5 better carries in the competition then XBOCT, if you consider the field had the likes of Burning, Zhou, Sylar, Hao and Yamateh amongst others, it is not that much of a stretch.

Afaik what happened was that they first they gave the rating in comparison to the other carries in that tournament, and since Burning and the others are so good they gave Xboct a terrible rating

So they went and tried to compensate (i.e. Na'Vi gets a 4 for their carry, DK gets like a 2 or a 1 for creativity) and they get flamed. They have since stopped using hexagons

I thought I'd share and see who remembers this. -Pudge apparently used to summon many small creatures (if you played WC3, I think they probably were locusts) who had 10 hp but had 90% evasion or something, which meant he could push like crazy. He didn't have hook at this point. -There was a hero called Gambler which was removed. I read his skills in Playdota forums and apparently everything he did depended on how much gold he and other team's heroes have. I forgot about the details but he had a skill that could potentially hit for 2500, but also lose the same amount of gold. -When Invoker had 27 spells, he could make everyone invisible around him and turn an enemy hero back to his team, like mind control. (O.o) - Naix was an agility hero with built in attack speed, life steal, damage and I think also a form of rage or speed buff. Can't remember exactly the details right now, but his strength growth was apparently low or something, I don't really remember it. Does anyone remember these? What other stuff you can tell? Naix wasn't agility, he was strength... He just had a really high agi gain like 4.15 if I'm not mistaken, and his str gain was really low...
