Ofc it's too late now but with 4(ish) heroes missing from Dota 2's CM mode that are enabled in Dota 1's CM mode, it just doesn't feel like an entirely valid tournament without those heroes. You're assuming that the teams practice with a hero that's not in -CM, which they probably don't. Also a quick scan of the known bugs list would tell you that there are enough major bugs with the hero for him not to be included in -CM. | ||

Basically he's a hard carry who will win any 1v1 man fight late game thanks to his ultimate. (Barring perhaps versus Doom or Void.) My point was that, as the successor to Dota 1, Dota 2's biggest tournament of the year should ideally allow players access to all the CM heroes by now. For example, imagine how different TI1 would've been if Gyrocopter, Lifestealer, Rubick, Nyx Assassin, KoTL, Lone Druid and especially Lycan (prior to his nerfs) had been available for play in CM mode prior to the actual tournament. | ||

you will join games automatically rather than having to spectate games tbh it's not that useful unless you are sleeping through the games and just want the item drops no point for that either since the chance will be so astronomically low anyway with so many in-game spectators and you shouldn't sleep through the games anyway.. for ESPORTS | ||

If you know he is coming u can often get somewhere safe via TP or a speedy hero. Just being aware that he is missing is important mid game. Your teammates should tell you if they see him charging as well. Thats probably why he is only good in pubs. Pretty basic stuff like teamwork is pretty effective vs him. | ||

This should give you warning of when he's charging one of the lanes, although if he uses smoke of deceit before hand there is very little you can do! (Support SB has been quite deadly in the competitive scene lately.) have lots of stuns may buy you precious moments to interrupt his charge, or at the very least prevent him from ulting your teammate after he charges. (Sven/DK & Skywrath Mage can blow him up if he charges one of your teammates, but Skywrath alone is very vulnerable to SB ganks since his silence doesnt stop the charge.) | ||

From my experience supports with instant lockdown like Rubick lift can do okay if you have time to react to his charge, he doesn't do much early on if you lift him during charge. Abaddon also seemed decent since he can negate a lot of SB's burst on allies, tanky heroes in general might be good. And obviously good ward coverage and tower hugging when he is missing won't hurt. | ||

I've found that invoker works pretty well against him, but what else? Any hero with an instant stun/hex is good for stopping the charge. Rubick, Lion, Rhasta come to mind. If you're quick about it, disruption skills like OD's or SD's on the right target can help too. Cogs do not stop charge. If you suspect you're getting charged, don't stand too close to a treeline or you won't have time to react. Stick with allies who also have stuns or nukes. Basically if you can't stop him solo, don't appear anywhere on the map without backup nearby. He'll probably get a bkb at some point, so if you don't have a beastmaster or other superior magic stuns, prepare to invest in a ghost scepter. | ||
