Also, Aghanims is the easiest item to use. Using Veil is annoying.
its one button? :D

Normally after SK gets Arcanes+Blink he can get whatever random support items the team needs (Vlad's, Force Staff, Drums, etc.). Ghost Scepter is naturally also going to be quite good at that point as well. Veil falls under this category, but only insofar as it benefits your team. If you're getting one just for yourself, it probably won't do enough to make it's poor stats worthwhile.
Aghanim's is an item to consider when you're in a farming role or really fed. A late Aghanim's isn't that useful. It doesn't directly add to the damage of the spell but adds more pulses instead, so it's effect is more noticeable if you can get one on lower rank ultis. Going from 10->12 pulses at level 16 is already overkill seeing as any fight where you can keep their team in place for that should be more or less settled. Going fro 6->8 (ok, even a farming Sand King probably won't have Agha before 11) or 8->10 pulses is basically like getting your next rank of Ulti a few levels earlier, which is pretty good,

bkb is probably the standard followup to blink but there are a lot of choices depending on the game and aghs isn't really that good on sandking. the buildup is nice but generally other items are better max sandstorm second so you can jungle with it

No one likes going battlefury on sand king...
I guess its just me.

Was away for about 2.5 months... What's new?
Changelog way too long.

first few games of SK I ever played, I got bfury everytime
Kelen who?

By the time you're maxing a second skill you can jungle fast with caustic. I've never seen the appeal of sandstorm, personally

Well, the pulse aoe does get larger over time. So theoretically you could use agh for the larger slowing area.

I used to even go Radiance if I farmed well enough lol.

On a related note...
At what game state/net worth is it good to skip Arcanes and go save for Blink (on any support relevant to the question)? And how long is "too long" for not buying Wards so you can save up a little more gold, assuming it's a hero like SK or ES that can make big plays with a Blink.
I know it's situational...but it's usually something that nags at me when I'm playing a support. I might get some kills or a few assists, suddenly find myself at 1500 gold at a fairly early time, and I always flip-flop.

Someone asked about the launch queue? + Show Spoiler +
And seeing how fast the amount of new players is growing, i'd have to say they're letting people in at a pretty big speed.
|
honestly, on STR supports like ES and SK, i feel they need the extra mana from the arcane boots active, not to mention the extra mana pool, so very very bad to be able to have some flexibility with spells
|
Everytime I skip arcane and go straight blink on sk, I always go oom to get a full combo off.
So I never rush blink again. It may be more flexible if you have something like a wand.

Shouldn't these be in simple questions answers?

What the heck? My friend made an account two days ago and there were only 6 in the queue. Growing fast I guess.

What is that launch queue for?

I guess that's a queue for new players that wants to register and download DotA2 for the very first time.

I also made a new account to play with him 3 days ago and there were like 13 in queue. Maybe it's based on where you're from and the demand in area?
