Since I won 13 games in a row 2 weeks ago, I've had ups and downs in MM. Been through a 6 game loss streak and an 8 game one recently.
Had some nice little 3-4 game win streaks in between all the losing though lol.

In recent 20 games I've won 15 of them, pretty good huh? But I know that Valve curse is going to manhandle me, unless I play 5 man stack as I did in few recent games, lol.

why shouldnt you? i think most of the time they also match you with other 5 stacks

If both teams are 5stacking and 5stacks never lose the game will end in a draw, duh.

Until you hit another stack that have 90 percent winrates, then you lose one

So MM is still pretty broken. I got matched up with people under 50 wins when I have over 50% win rate and over 500 games.

Your winrate means nothing, and those <50 win people could have a higher MMR than you with your >500.

Issue was fixed, also it doesn't mean that his mmr isn't the same as yours. I've tested this the other day and you can actually get an account into very high after one game due to smurf detection. In general though if you don't get very high after one game, you can get high after 1-2 games, and very high bracket games after a couple more. Also the guy with <50 wins might have been queueing with a friend as well that brought his mmr higher. But there will be a compensation somewhere to even that out on the other team.

~15 games on my smurf and I get people ranging from 500-1200+ wins. It really means nothing.

Edit: Also I really feel like i'm playing at the right MMR/ELO/Whatever now, actually have competent teammates (this is after playing one game in the last two weeks). Feels good (no doubt i will be back to the qq thread once volvo decides i've had enough fun)

I'm hesitating to do something : I'd like to buy a new headset, maybe I should buy the one with a battlefury for dota 2 and get my money back on my steam wallet. It will allow me to trade it for some keys and then sell them on dota market so I have money on my steam account. It does not seem that hard to do and give a cheap (good?) headset.
Any opinion? Any one did it? Is it a good purchase?
