You always get to pick a hero that becomes effective quickly, has no reliance on teammates and isn't afraid of anything. Bring out that qop/pudge/nightstalker/whatever you like the most :D I think it's a very effective way to get your MMR up. Trying to play RD/CM forces you to rely on your teammates to do their job. You might also get forced into a role with little impact. That's not good if you're significantly higher skilled than the level you're queuing at. | ||

All pick is best way to get up MMR, just master a limited pool of heroes. I got consistently on Page 1 when i queued for nothing else than Juggernaut (solo offlane), Omni (solo offlane) or CM (supp), Tree (solo offlane), Zeus Viper (mid) etc, all 40+ games, 60%+ WR (tree is 82% lmao, Omni 68%) Nowadays however i just random all game every game and play at a slightly lower level, else i'm screwed anytime i must get out of my comfort zone (see my 0-3 TA, 0-4 QoP, 2-8 Lycan, 1-8 Wisp, 4-17 Sylla, 1-6 Dusa ) and feel bad  | ||

All Pick games always seemed to result in even worse lineups than AR games as a general rule. All carries, every game. | ||
