N3komata said that after a lot of deliberating and playing the matchup, the consensus among Chinese players is that at mid level, where both players make a lot of mistakes, Puck has the advantage. But at high level, if the number of mistakes are very few, QoP has the advantage. What? No, that's wrong. You have solo-killing and gank-assist ability against SF at all levels. Only if you get lax and let him get souls he shouldn't does he catch back up. Otherwise if you control the lane well and abuse your solo kill threat, you can crush SF out of the game. SF just punishes you if you stop playing the lane extremely tight, but that's true of SF vs anyone. Was very curious to see how Dendi's SF would turn out against the mouz Puck. So SF got outlast hitted early (8 to 4), eventually Chen helped him. But SF died twice to ganks. But however, even by then, SF had so many souls that puck couldn't even 1v1 him with his ult. And SF ends up being one of the last hit leaders, 6-10 minutes in.

If it's a real game it's hard to say if puck plays perfect QoP shouldn't be able to kill and if QoP plays perfect she should never be over aggressive to be killed by puck. I think in both scenarios with perfect play QoP should out CS/Deny. Real game too tough to judge in a vacuum though because of ganks/zapports etc.

Both sides punish the other for committing/making mistakes, but on pure lasthit fundamentals, QoP will win because of how much better her animation/projectile speed are. Haven't seen the game yet, would like a VOD link. 8 to 4 lasthits is already better than expected for an SF on the first 2-3 waves, honestly. And if Puck can't just 100 to 0 SF solo after 2 kills, then something happened that you're not mentioning. EDIT: nm Puck got pooled too

Everything else past this point is a foregone conclusion from the fact that SF has 11/1 creeps at 2:45. The first gank didn't even help Puck because he didn't get the kill, the XP was split 4 ways, SF already had his Bottle, and he still had more souls than he should even counting for the 6 he lost on death.

If you look at most of the better mid players currently, like f.e s4, if he's in a disadvantaged match-up he will almost always get a drive-by courtesy of Akke or someone to weigh it in his favor.

It's just funny that he mentions Puck not being able to 1v1 SF "later" when everything that was done to lose the lane happened in the first 2 minutes.

I don't think its a good idea, because he will just forfeit all runes and generally not have a big impact on the game for a mid hero, I think. I guess you could run him as a "support" on the safe lane and just pull jungle with him. Also, pray they don't agresive trilane, because if they do, you're fucked. it does remove LA.
