for me i dont feel theres a clear "firstpickhero" anymore also u get firstpick in 2nd phase which is pretty damn good imo | ||

Wisp and Bat are still clear first pick heroes, specially wisp, so you cannot ban 2 heroes that the other team likes if you don't have first pick. See the DH finals for a good example, banning Prophet and LD can be great against Alliance, but doing it as first pick is far easier than it is as second pick. | ||

But seriously, pre-TI2 there was no heroes for a couple of months beforehand. A lot of work goes into it. And Valve are going to release the game before then (Valve time?), so there is even more work to be done. I doubt there will be any hero patches before TI2. | ||
