It saves you a left click so it is faster, all be it quite marginal. Accuracy is the same since you still have to mouseover to left click it. The real question is if you can set it individually for skills (or at least hotkeys like LoL) because smartcasting some skills just ruins me, namely anything that is ground targeted.

Is there any reason why downloading tournament replays is always taking so long? I've got a 50mbit connection and it just took nearly 5 minutes to dl one Raidcall replay.

If they stick with GomTV we're fucked. I pretty much agree with this, 100%.

I thought Gom was pretty much confirmed for broadcasting dota in the near future? There was this video showing sc2,wot and dota forgot what or when it was.kinda doubt ogn will dabble into dota

with the current WCS treatment blizzard did to GOM plus the endorsement of World of Tank, no doubt in my mind GOM gona switch platform into team games soon. Tastetorsist were doing a dual stream world of tank this morning. Notice it was multiplayer and tasteless has NEVER streaming himself playing a multiplayer game.

Pretty likely they were straight up asked to play it by GOM.

Steam back up for me now.

Many people were afraid that Nexon would fuck that part up, because their games tend to have pretty bs approach to microtransactions! Well, that's settled now it seems.
Btw, who's the publisher for LoL in Korea? Sadly, Perfect World seems severely out-gunned in China by Tencent. How is it in Korea?
Said Volvo to Nexon: Who needs pay 2 win when people pay 4 hats

For a Western viewer there's not that much difference, but OGN has a vastly better reputation among the Korean viewerbase, plus GOM isn't on broadcast television while OGN is. If LoL is broadcast on TV and DotA isn't, that's going to hurt DotA viewership relative to LoL a lot.
EDIT:

If the game had 3 active broadcaster channels, you're downloading 3 audio tracks for the entire game.
I'm pretty sure the audio is a LOT more data than the replays themselves.
Hopefully Valve has some ideas for only downloading selected audio because I think it's rare that people will listen to commentary in every language.

btw yango u know everything, why are dota2 replays (also noticed that in hon) about 219371237 times bigger than a sc2/wc3 replay? is it only because of the different engine? a friend of mine said it could be that the mouse movement is tracked and thats alot of data, but i dunno ^_^ thanks :D
