Or just chronosphere. :3

You could always suicide from AA ult if you dealt the damage to yourself that ticked your HP under the threshold. You also could never get rid of the debuff with BKB or manta. No bugs.

Yes, i think it's weak when compared to other Buffs... It's sure as hell worse than Empower which is just gamechanging when certain heroes get it... Same to a lesser extend goes for Bloodlust... You'll notice if that PA/AM/Bear have Bloodlust.. Cause they use it in every fight, Frost armor does not stop your supports from getting blown up, it does nothing against magic damage.... Svens Warcry is better in most cases and thats not even single target
Not that it's useless, it just pales to other stuff ingame.

I used the range circle at 1200, I'm glad it's gone though, it was an awkward crutch that made me pay attention to the range more than my actual positioning a lot of the time. It made me use a lot of spells better, but didn't make me play better so fuck it anyway.
Will miss never misblinking and always getting the max range though. Also it was fucking excellent for Timber Chain.

So necro has insane healing and AA has insane counterhealing, anyone see a correlation?

Agh AA isn't that good. 17 duration Frostbite is of course good. Still not worth the cost I feel.
But Agh Doom I can now say is legit. Rattlesnake Luo gonna love this hero even more now.

Having the greater bash on charge is kind of ridiculous for spirit breaker, he was already a good pubstomper before (but worthless competitive) but now he is even more ridiculous.

So, for someone who never used range finder and whatnot... what did Valve remove, the line or the circle ?

It's worth it because AA doesn't need any items himself, the items you typically build on the hero don't do anything for his own potential, but you get them for your team because what the fuck else are you gonna build on AA. He doesn't need Arcanes, he doesn't benefit from forcestaff, he is a pretty atrocious Mek carrier because of the positioning it forces on him. Normally if you're playing "selfish"/other heroes in your team are taking care of the aforementioned items you'll get either a quick Eul's or a quick Atos. I don't see any reason why any of these items is better that Agh's. Even as a luxury after being forced to get the "team items", where your only real choice is Sheepstick I can see Agh's not only being more useful unless the enemy has like 3+ bkb's, but also being actually feasible to build in most games due to the nicer buildup.

Isn't there meant to be some weird bug with refresher orb and AA's ult?

It's certainly not something new.

As far as getting rid of the buff, the buff was always purge-able, but not removed by Magic Immunity. It wouldn't damage magic immune units, but the HP freeze and shatter effect would still be valid on them.
EDIT: But yes, the suicides thing is a known bug from before.
EDIT 2: Ok, doing some digging up, AA ult interaction with some buff removal is actually kind of wonky. Basically, if the Ice Blast buff is removed, it is triggered to reapply itself if you are not damaged for 0.5 seconds. Purge, Cyclone, Dark Pact, and Kraken Shell are triggered to provide a 0 damage damage instance in order to cancel this part of the spell. Manta does NOT do this, so it should remove AA ult *most of the time* but not always (if you don't get damaged in 0.5 seconds it should re-apply itself).
In short, the expected DotA 1 behavior for Ice Blast in relation to magic immunity/purge/manta: - Magic Immunity: prevents damage from the DoT, does not remove the buff and therefore allows the HP freeze and shatter effects - Purge, Cyclone, Dark Pact/Kraken Shell: removes the buff completely - Manta Style/Mirror Image: Removes instance of the debuff, re-applied if not damaged within 0.5 seconds

Some anecdotal confirmation
Basically, if you fire the tracer and then refresh before firing the blast, ulting again immediately allows you to shoot the ult with pinpoint accuracy and then shoot a normal ult with the fired tracer. Tested in bot mode with refresher orb, without wtf mode on. Feel free to follow my steps to verify for yourself, as I have no video-making client on my computer to record the process in action.

I never used the range finder so I'm at least 1.56987 times better after the patch while noobs run around missing skills and being out of range.

I used range finder, but I'm not really upset that it was removed.
Seems fair.
Also, I can vouch for being able to kill yourself with Morph against an AA ult (oh, back when I was a noob...) Can't remember if it gives you a suicide or gives credit for a kill or not.
