Unfortunately, she didn't like it at all, couldn't/didn't want to get used to the camera style of RTS games. I'm purposely making sure my gf doesn't learn how to play dota, and i'm pretty sure she doesn't want to. She needs to finish her zelda games and portal 2 first anyways.
well i had this delusion that she would really like it and we'd have fun despite the inevitable flames. Then the real plan could come out where I whore.. I mean, market her on twitch with gigantic webcam and try to get that sweet ad revenue. That market is saturated in LoL, but could be a GOLDMINE FOR DOTA!

No it was the starladder females final, where they accidentally deleted dota before the games, played facebook games during pauses and kicked the computer off the stage because they got a rampage

Um, no? That was just the finals of the female Dota 2 competion. It was 2be (ofr something like that) against Virtus.Pro, it had nothin to do with "girlfriends showmatch"
The charity event was run by Sayuri, and she stole around $2200 of the donations that were supposed to go towards Child's Play.

I don't know if you know Reckful, WoW Arena player, but afaik he got ~30k in donations by one guy. Not to mention all the hundreds of others who donate him every week. First month of streaming he got close to ~20k from donations if i remember correctly.

He got 15k in one day from that guy. Odai or something like that. I know it starts with an O. Was fucking crazy. But reckful is a cool streamer. A lot better than a lot of the others out there that just play games. He might not interact directly in arena but he reads the chat and does giveaways and stuff. Really cool guy.

Just checked that the guy (Amhai?) has donated 21,000$ overall. But yeah, Reckful definitely knows what he is doing in Arena/WoW. Those who have followed the PvP scene since the start of WoW, know how big "fanbase" this guy had/has.
