Your wording with "needs to get fed inlane" really implied something else, so if you don't mean that I'll admit it's not so clear cut. And the biggest issue was when it was said bottle crowing means you are fine. It really doesn't, you either do stay very far away and get very little or you risk getting comboed for most if not all of your health if you are caught out of position. Bottle doesn't mean you are safe like it does with other mid heroes.

Bottle doesn't make you safe versus a ton of mids. Magnus or QoP for example has a ton of kill potential with the full combo. Skywrath is just an edge case where you aren't safe significantly faster (level 3 instead of 6 typically).

It works perfectly well when flipping backwards. I don't know why they didn't implement that functionality for flipping forwards.

I've quit Dota before SM was introduced.
So what's the generic kill rotation at level 3? 1-1-1 start off with W, while that's flying Silence then Q? Or W, wait until its close --> Silence --> Q spam?

Generally lead with Nuke since it flies REALLY REALLY SLOWLY (basically death pulse speed only it has a long range). Same with his slow I guess. I was under the impression that solo lanes went 2-0-1 at 3 for more harass since the enemy kinda has to overplay to die at 3 no matter what.
But yeah where possible get stuff in flight then silence right before contact. The silence is instant but sometimes you have to blow it early (duh) to prevent escape mechanisms.

2 Bolt 1 Concussive unless they have something that really demands the Silence for you to get a kill/damage (e.g. QoP/Puck). In that case 2 Bolt 1 Silence or 1-1-1 depends.
