Well, yeah, but even with correct builds, Razor's that don't use link are pretty bad. While even with an agi build, you will win an 1v1 fight vs their agi carry, which actually happens fairly often in pubs. Or even easily turn an 1v2 versus two of their 4 agi carries.

GAMEPLAY - Enabled Drow and Tusk in Captain's Mode (Tournament Version). - Enabled Bristleback, Slark and Skywrath Mage in Captain's Mode (Latest Version). - Invoker: Fixed Cold Snap being purgable. - Skywrath Mage: Fixed hitbox being too small. - Slark: Fixed Shadow Dance giving Slark flying vision. - Slark: Fixed Shadow Dance granting passive bonuses to Slark illusions. - Slark: Fixed an issue causing Shadow Dance's passive modifier to not update in the UI, despite being active. - Slark: Fixed Dark Pact continuing while Slark is dead. - Slark: Essence Shift counters on both Slark and enemy heroes will show the total duration ( i.e. the time that the most recent stack will expire.) - Slark: Fixed a number of incorrect spell interactions with Dark Pact. - Slark: Fixed a number of horizontal movement ability interactions with Pounce. - Troll Warlord: Fixed Berserker's Rage bonus damage not being applied as base damage. - Tusk: Fixed Frozen Sigil not affecting magic immune units. WORKSHOP - Added HUD Skins to the Workshop Importer. Valve fixing Slark(finally!) and preparing for shipping the heroes into CM. Preparation for TI3? :D I wonder whats going on behind the scenes too. Someone found a HL thingy as a courier Also HUD SKINS WORKSHOP IMPORTER - TEAMLIQUID DO IIIIIIIIIIT

While towards the top we have Necrolyte(wtf?), SB(One of my personal favorites, but I almost never seeing anyone else use him successfully), Omniknight, Spectre(another wtf?), VS, Treant Protector..All skewed towards the top of the list. At least in my mind, it doesn't make much sense =| And how many pubs can actually shut down a hard carry and end the game before 30 minutes? Spectre thrives in the depths of normal bracket!

I think it might be because spec is really a fairly passive carry. If the game goes long, she does well, even if the person playing her literally ults, a-moves and then afks in the middle of the fight with radiance going. Voids can miss chrono, AM et al. can fail to buy bkb and get stunned down, morphs can do heaps of things wrong. On the other hand, spec pretty much has to stand in fountain to be useless ultra-lategame, and even then she has haunt. Speaking of which, I've found haunt to be an amazing pubstomp ult. At the very least, she's never felt as passive to me as people say. She's terrible in lane, sure, but a lot of the time you can get away with that in pubs. Once you're at 6ish haunt gets you asstons of assist gold and lets you be in every major fight with 0 effort and planning. I'm surprised she's almost warlock tier, but I'm not surprised she's positive.

they don't die then because of no focus fire and her ult is allowed to do lots of damage because everyone tries to fight the illusions alone. mystery solved.

I remember people rushing midas and a radiance for the bear with treads for both then AC for, bear I think? I honestly don't know how people divide items between hero/bear and what items exactly are best. Armlet, AC, Mjollnir, Phase, OoV, Vlads.. Tranquils on the hero I suppose. Hardly ever see people go Radiance anymore

Phase and Armlet are more common for the first pickup nowadays on the bear. OOV sometimes as well very early. edit: oops, someone already answered.

Just played an All Random where they got all 4 carries and a Brewmaster. I went Undying got bloodstone and BKB with 4 support heroes (Invoker, Lion, Rubick, Witch Doctor). Was so good, we won in 30 minutes!
