No, radiant didn't do much in the way of laning. Other team had 43 denies in a 20 min game, thats enough to indicate they have some concept of how to play. Yes I recognize the names. | ||

Bkb is situacional as stuns don't break the static link. | ||

If you are having problems last-hitting try tango + salve + 2 Slippers of agility + 2 branches (old build but very strong for last hitting). Medallion doesn't seem that great on him to me. What are you trying to achieve with it? If you get off a good static link you are going to 2-shot everybody early anyway, and late-game medallion is a waste of a slot on a "core" hero like razor. BKB is legit on every hero in dota, depending on opponents. Razor traditionally doesn't *need* bkb the way many other carries do, since for the first part of a fight all he wants to do is get off a link and then not die. If a hood will get you the "not dying" part, then no need for BKB since link isn't channelling or anything. If it's clear that BKB is needed that game (just look at enemy heroes) then skip hood in favour of BKB. TL;DR: BKB not core really, its the alternative to hood depending on game situation. | ||

I guess medallion is viable? Never tried it myself. Lot of movement speed and items to make you tanky is my choice. | ||

So think of the whip hitting as the release point of a bow firing an arrow. Just a fast one (but not quite sniper speed I don't think). And if bane puts his -damage on you you can't last hit no matter who you are (unless you static link the bane to steal his damage instead lol). Bane is pretty good at last-hit wars in general, actually. | ||

Ah well. Aquila is quite decent on razor, especially for last hitting. The problem is that if you are getting aquila, AND upgraded boots, AND mek, AND drums, AND hood, AND Yasha, then you need like 10K farm to get a bunch of decent but not high-impact items which leaves you in an awkward position since you took a lot of farm but are still relying on somebody else for the true "carry". | ||

This is my item order so far: 3x branches + consumables -> Aquila -> Boots -> Wand (recipe) -> RoH -> Phase -> Hood -> Drums -> Meka -> The rest is situational. | ||

Imo build him quite similar to Luna just with different boots (treads or phase doesnt matter. I think tranquils are kinda weak on him, one of the few carries I dislike tranquils). With drums yasha bkb for the crazy movement speed + getting the drain off. Skadi is also pretty amazing on Razor as a 5th/6th item. | ||
