Nobody is talking about Tusk though. Guess I don't see him ever getting picked either. He doesn't really bring much to the table IMO.

Silence + Aura + Frost Arrows are all pretty great and she does good damage without any farm anyway. Nobody is talking about Tusk though. Guess I don't see him ever getting picked either. The only hero I've actually won with is Slark because being able to attack while invisible versus bots that prefer dust over sentries is invaluable, along with his high mobility to be able to deviate their inevitable 5-man push that happens when all of my tier 1 towers are down. I've had decent chances with Pudge (getting Urn, Force Staff, and Agh's for the midgame while racking up Flesh Heap - transitioning into MoM, Heart, Cuirass, Basher once the rax start falling), and Kunnka (must have gotten at least six ultra kills/rampages but I was never quick enough to push a lane without them barreling down another). This is actually how I'm going to spend most of my time on DotA now, just trying to beat 5 Unfair bots with every hero in the pool. EDIT: Doing this has made me realize how ridiculous Necrolyte is when a last-hitting machine is playing him. + Show Spoiler + UPDATE: Weaver joins Slark in winning, unsurprisingly with how mobile they both are. UPDATE #2: Who needs to be mobile when you can go man mode with Armlet and Aegis? Huskar joins the previous two. UPDATE #3: Medusa seems to legitimately scare enemy AI. Every time they tried to push into the base, I'd throw a snake, and they'd run to the nearest creep wave back. Eventually farmed Rapier and throned. Medusa joins the bunch. UPDATE #4: Centaur Warchief. 289 Strength. Added to the list. UPDATE #5: Lone Druid seems to set the tone that pushing power will win no matter what. Welcome to the group. UPDATE #6: Enchantress remains a top mid 1v1 hero. Only problem was trying to push with auto-attacks while I waited for the AI to revive. She joins the previous six. UPDATE #7: Venomancer surprisingly destroys the enemy team and hits t4's in 30 minutes. UPDATE #8: Drow. 20 minutes mega creeps. 21 minutes victory. UPDATE #9: Shadow Fiend's pretty fun. Pushing prevails. Added to the list. UPDATE #10: Invoker rushing double Forge Spirits into Deso + max Alacrity, Cuirass = 30 minute throne. UPDATE #11: With all of the previous Razor discussion I decided to try him out when I knew I could win against the mid, and wow, do I like his ultimate for pushing. Unfortunately it was underwhelming until I had Aghanim's (of course), Deso, and Cuirass. But then it became extremely satisfying to watch their throne melt in 5 seconds. Welcome Razor. UPDATE #12: After about six games of inability to do anything when the five AI grouped up, I managed to win with Morphling after methodically snowballing across the map while pushing. Only had to defend once, and it was a short-lived effort. Finally, I can stop playing Morphling in 30+ minute games to realize I can't do anything! UPDATE #13: Tiny with Agh's, Cuirass, and MoM by 25 minutes goes into a bar. UPDATE #14: I felt from the beginning with Bloodseeker's attack buff and ability to pick off heroes would have been an easy win, but it took me at least ten games to finally trade one lane for mega creeps and eventually kill their entire team. Rushed Radiance for the first time and it seemed to do the charm. UPDATE #15: Forgot to keep up with this. Sniper, Phantom Lancer, Gyrocopter, Visage, Slardar, and Storm Spirit join the pool. 21 heroes in total so far! UPDATE #16: Another multi-hero update including Chen, Leshrac, Windrunner, Faceless Void, Anti-Mage, Templar Assassin, and Magnus. 28 heroes in total! UPDATE #17: Almost a month later, I think. A smaller update as the hero pool slims down: Viper, Alchemist, Shadow Demon, and Lina. 32 heroes in total. UPDATE #18: Another small update containing Mirana, Dragon Knight, and Timbersaw. 35 heroes. UPDATE #19: Yet another day ending up relatively small. Night Stalker and Kunnka (FINALLY!) join the bunch. 37 heroes in total. UPDATE #20: This is a more plentiful update: Rubick, Spirit Breaker, Juggernaut, Puck, Broodmother, Naga Siren, Nature's Prophet, Sven, Bounty Hunter (This was the most one-sided stomp with 1300 GPM), and Bristleback. That's 47 heroes now!

The only lane where this would be playable is mid since both sides tend to just nuke the wave down, but it could also put you into an easily gankable position. why would you get aura in laning phase? Unless you're trying to get kills, it's pretty pointless. If you're trying to freeze the lane then you probably don't want aura. e: even if you're trying to get kills at level 4 it's better to put more points into silence, or hell, even stats, rather than aura. Aura will give you like maybe 4 damage if you skill it at level 4, stats will at least give you that and a bit of strength.
