We might see it in niche aura push strat, but I doubt we'll be seeing it for longer than a week or a few games from teams. She has too many fundamental weaknesses IMO. I'd like to here counter arguments though.

Oooooh I've never seen skywrath mage before. He looks pretty decent. Kinda like a zoos.
BTW his ulti costs 800 mana on a 20 second cooldown (at 16). Thats pretty brutal. Especially since at level 16 his innate mana pool is 1001. OOF. Plus his spammy nuke has a 2 second CD.
He feels like he does a lot of damage but doesn't really bring enough to a team. Kinda like a worse zoos although at least he has a silence and an OK slow. All his abilities have nice range at least.

I think it's very possible we will see her in certain strats. All of her skills are pretty good and useful now, so if it was possible to pick old Drow in very specific line-ups that aimed to peak at her 16, I think she may be even more viable now.

Better laning than Zuues, which is a pretty big deal. I haven't really played with him, but he should be a better solo mid.

Skywrath is better than Zeus at least in part because his laning is a lot better (as in, OD/Bane/Sylla level good). He's basically permaban in DotA 1 1v1 tournaments.
If anyone remembers 2009's 1v1 tournament from a couple months back, Skywrath was banned literally every single game of the bracket stage. OD got through several games, as did Bane and Brood, but Skywrath never got let through a single game, IIRC.

Can he beat bat? (i'm guessing turnspeed slow still 2 stronk, but he can do okay).

Is arcane bolt dodge-able, or is it like necro's death pulse?

IIRC Arcane Bolt is a triggered projectile, so like Sven's Storm Bolt and Death Pulse it can't be disjoined by Blink.

This guy is probably one of the squishiest heroes in DotA. His agi or STR gain is atrocious and he had no escapisms, talk about glass cannon.

What's up with Riki not being invisible when re-spawning? Is it just a visual bug? I don't see the buff being active nor the model looking like invisible.
It comes back after you make an action.

It's just a visual bug. The enemy team still can't see you.

It comes back after you make an action. Always existed although you're still invisible I believe.

'Pseudo orb' (so you can attack and 'orb' your target, and that stupidly long range), slow, silence, AoE version of laguna blade (with 20s cd at lvl3), he is like the goddamn son of lina+silencer. I am really interested whether he would turn out to be popular after dota2's released, the dude totally deserves some slight nerf but nobody seems to give a damn to him in dota1 (except some 1v1 tourney etc).
I need to be able to play dota2 asap, stupid replacement of my monitor taking ages to arrive -_-

He's also in that "almost perma-ban" class of mid heroes in tournament 1v1.
Bane, Bat, Brood, Bear, OD, SD, Skywrath--90% of the time 6/7 of these comprise 1v1 tournament bans.

imagine playing SD vs 1 hero where you don't have to worry about ganks and can build up items that are offensive that actually grow your hero, not your team by being a 5th position support. He's pretty damn strong in this format. Especially given the rules and format of 1v1 tournaments, it's not like he has to scale into some huge late game carry. SD is VERY strong 1v1 hero.

SD is a very powerful mid hero. Disruption out-trades anyone level 1, he has high base stats (decent base armor for a ranged hero, high and consistent base damage), and has solo-killing ability at multiple levels.
The problem with SD mid is that his midgame teamfighting power is basically the exact same as support SD (Disruption, Catcher, Ult--Poison is a weak midgame teamfighting skill because of how it has to get stacked to do damage, but you HAVE to level it for solo lanes), so you have to snowball off your powerful laning and ganks with Ult, otherwise you're a LOT less useful than the other mid hero when it gets to midgame.
