Yes, it can proc as soon as the attack starts. On this note, Centaur's Return ability procs whenever you start an attack as well. I was hiding in the trees out of sight when he walked by and I had to spam S to stop my autoattacks, and ended up taking a fuckton of damage from his Return alone. Another reason why it's better to have autoattack off, but I'll never get used to that.

Confirming ingame right now

S makes you stop, but if autoattack isn't turned off you will attack a target if it's within your range and pursue it if you don't stop command again. H makes you immobile permanently.
Good ol WC3 mechanics.

Usually there's something your team needs that you should get that's higher priority than Halberd. Oh I did. I had Mek, Urn, Arcanes. You need more items that benefit your team in fights, like Aghanims and Dagon aghanims is like jango but better :D

If people are interested, turn on legacy horkeys for some of the older heroes, and you'll find they are pretty much set up for your fingers on A to attack and H for hold, with 2 fingers and thumb for the rest. The way I still play after the hotkeys have been grinded into my head for years

Poll: What keys do you use for keys?Edited keys (31) 72% Legacy Keys (12) 28% 43 total votes Your vote: What keys do you use for keys? (Vote): Legacy Keys (Vote): Edited keys
I'm curious. Personally I use legacy, how about you?

Well I missclicked the poll so take 1 from legacy keys and put it on edited keys

We're at a time where people are pushing the boundaries to what is cheating / acceptable even in competitive play. I'm looking at that BS 1000 radius circle around your hero setting.
Personally switched to edited, way more convenient. Using numpad for inventory nowadays? Nostalgic!

i pretty much know what to press for invoker spells . Y for cold snap and stuff. and t for sunstrike and build DPS invoker all day.

If anyone can turn it on through console how is it cheating? Cheating is traditionally defined as using underhanded means to gain an unfair advantage over opponents.. the only reason it might be unfair is because some people choose not to use it and frankly that's their problem.

Tournaments I entered (never did win one, but got 3rd a couple) did not allow any hotkey programs at the time.

Hmm.. I'm scared to ask how to get that raidus thingy on... I kinda want to use it, but at the same time, I'm also thinking of getting used to it too much that it will be bad when Valve decides to remove it altogether.

dota_range_display_1200
It can only improve your play, so why not use it? It's a learning tool.

*shrug*

dota_disable_range_finder 0 is far more game breaking than the 1200 radius thing.
