![]() And to keep it relevant: What do you think about shadow armlet on Warlock and then just using it for the fade+upheaval combo?

Not worth it - its better to grab items like Mek, Scepter, Pipe that increase his utility, help his teamfight (since he is essentially a walking teamfight), make his ult stronger, and make him tankier.

I was saying a few months back that WL should be so good in current meta (and he is a comeback king) but very few teams who picked him actually fully utilize him with their line up (i have not seen one that is good, personally).

http://www.twitch.tv/tobiwandota/b/368005029 I haven't got time to rewatch it, but as I remember it the Warlock was a good part of why Dignitas was able to pull through the midgame until Spectre could get up to strength. There were alot of teamfights where nth went out of their way to try to take WL out of the fight, but between Mek, Treads, a Cloak, and 2.5 strength gain it was really difficult, and the sheer damage from Bonds in tandem with Haunt, Firefly, and the rock meant that even if nth won a teamfight it was never decisive enough to take a convincing lead off it.

Most will argue that NTH really lost the game a lot more (forced teamfights against a pure teamfight team in highly unfavorable areas, like around rosh, gave a lot of room to spectre after the 10-15 min mark) than dignitas won that game - but yes, Warlock was a huge reason that they were able to turn that game around.

Curious, what do you imply by "fully utilize"? They love to pick WL for the sake of picking him, or when some heroes who were picked to combo with WL but they didn't do the combo successfully, wasted the WL pick. And i remember there was a game where WL maxing shadow word and leaving Fatal bond at lvl2 or something like that. I didnt watch that game. I'll watch it later. Like i said wl is the 'comeback king'! edit: that bane pick. if the core strategy is about wl+spec, bat/rubick are nice complement, then wth is the bane doing there. Imagine they got a disruptor/sandking/es/tide etc or another teamfight carry.

I can't vouch for what runs dota at what settings though. GTX670 runs it at max settings at ~114 fps (2560x1440 res) is all I know. My complaint is incessant bad pings If I can get ~50 ping to some TF2 server in Chicago why can't I get anything better than 140 to any Dota 2 server in history? ![]()
