problem with sydm was not only that he was weak mechanically but he was passive when he should be aggressive, even when he has advantage in lane he often can't turn that into real game value.

edit: LOL Seriously, what is this. I can watch a game on DotATV but I can't reconnect to the game I was playing. I guess this will be my first abandon. Awesome.

i love how my post gets completely ignored rofl. I have never seen anyone (mainly chinese caused only them play dota1 now) builds medal on him and i thought it is pretty obvious why, just go read up what Goo does. While some people can say it is for ganking/complement more to his goo etc but goo kicks in way earlier in the game so why waste that gold on medal and i am saying that as a medal fetish.

Dunno how it should be explained. Perfect World is the distributor and company who handles things in China. They have their own servers, want's Valve to block Chinese players from their servers so they'll use Perfect World's servers instead. Those who are playing Dota 2 right now on Steam, might not be able to play it if their access is being blocked/denied, because of Perfect World's limitations. Nonetheless, our editors here at SGamer believe that it isn’t quite possible for Steam to block all access to its platform, and rather, it will simply block access to Dota 2… if this is the case, then Perfect World faces the problems of ensuring that all current Chinese Dota 2 players on Steam get access and get to keep their purchases, cosmetics, etc

But then again, China is pretty controlled and Perfrect World want's to do their own thing, especially if they have rights to do it. "Limitations" are quite normal and understandable, when you think about it. It's like a new phase of Dota 2 Beta. Every game has to stress test and stabilize their servers before the launch, so there won't be any problems/surprises. To be honest, as long as the Chinese servers (Perfect World's) are stable and better than the current, i'd be happy for the Chinese players. But i don't know what PW are planning on doing, so it's hard to say 100% if it's a good or bad thing overall.

But for now it's also unclear on what will happen, if the western audience wants to watch let's say the PW+Gamefy league or let alone the G-1 LAN finals [whenever they will be]. I have a bad feeling that let's say our beloved BTS wouldn't be able to cover those tournaments, because they can't have access to it. I might be misunderstanding something there. But I'm definetly with you, as long as they can improve the chinese servers it's cool. As long as it's a temporary phase and not permanent, so China will be "cut off" of the rest of the Dota2 community even after full release.
