LOL Get real, Na'Vi fanboy. Show me a match where Merlini cheating like Na'Vi did.

I don't even see what this has to do with Merlini. He's just the messenger more or less. The issue is "tactical pauses" and abusing them.
In this case, its pretty clear they happened to abuse their pause (whether it was for legitimate reasons or not...)

Unneeded drama? He found a replay of the exact thing that was going on (which seemed kind of fishy), said "yeah, this one seems kind of fishy", and said something along the lines of "something needs to be done about this".
I guess I just don't get your guy's perspective. If anything, this is more damning for Puppey than anyone.

Either you are completely blind or you have a problem mate.
Besides, if you watch the fucking video, Merlini does nothing but point out obvious "tactical pauses" and doesn't even give a proper solution to it.

how? he brought up a perfect example (the pause indubitably helped the pauser's team) of the problem in a situation where there are serious stakes (hence showing why the problem needs to be addressed)
now there's going to be a lot of outcry about the current pause system and the way it's being used in online tourneys
seems fine to me
edit: he also didn't say navi was the only team which did this or say anything to suggest that, rather he gave the impression that the problem was widespread and this was one prominent example
that puppey lost his shit over it is his problem, not merlini's

Well, it seems conclusive that Puppey did tactical pause. It's confusing, it was the first game in a bo3 against rdm, the team was never really good, in a not very important game (it was D2L groupstage I think). I don't think they really needed to do it, seems like he did it just because he could, which is pretty disappointing. His tweet was also really insulting, but nothing we haven't seen from Puppey already.

There's a public outcry against Navi with a small consideration about the pause system as an afterthought. Guess it's a fine way to get publicity but I can't approve of it as a way to actually fix a problem.

what? he suggests a countdown timer for pauses so you cant have instantaneous tactical pauses to react to a problematic engagement
also u sound kind of angry

The amount of fan merlini has is nothing compare to puppey. Its just that merlini fan is more vocal because most of them belongs to the english speaking community(NA specifically). So when issue like this come up, you can often see comments in this thread as well as reddit are 1 sided and sometime even to the unreasonable point. Obviously the issue itself cannot be resolve and accusing without proper proofs is straight up lying. The fault is in the hand of the tournament organizer and Puppey is just protecting his reputation by calling out an inaccurate accusation.

If you watch the video, Merlini explained how the issue "could" be solved. By implementing HoN system.

i wasn't aware that you protected your reputation by calling people "lying faggot"s
also are you aware of the evidence that it was in fact a tactical pause, such as puppey's player perspective at the time it happened?

After you press the pause button there is a 3 second countdown before the game gets paused, so things like this CAN be avoided.

Thank you. But why do we have admins in game, if we can't use them for pausing? As i said previous page, ADMINS should be the one's pausing the game, just like it has been done and is done in Kespa tournaments (Starcraft). That would already solve the "problem" without implementing anything.
