a void that was filled by LoL after BW died, Riot took the oppertunity and did it extremly well(OGN Korea LoL tournaments, etc) activly promoting it. Giving money etc and such. Its free and accessible whereas Dota 2 needs steam and a key. Dota 2 is/was still in the beta and is not really marketed in Korea much if at all, they are still busy with Nexon afaik(so its not even out yet). The casual and style possibly appeals more to Korea(but I am not so sure about this, I mean you got Cat-Katerina, Maid-Nidalee nurse Akali and shit). Mostly its more a thing of Riot was there first imo. | ||
