well i know 2 guys who almost exlusively play -cm. be it with stacks or solo. although they dont know each other as far as i know they share 3 common traits. 1. they genuine belief that only noobs play -AP and the real deal is -CM. 2. they never play team matchmaking or look for scrims on other platforms even if they are 5, because they "play with mates who are not very good" 3. they are not the best players around and their knowledge when it comes to mechanics or simply things you can do is lacking. i.e. continuing a pull with drawing aggro from another creepcamp or stacking ancients so a tinker can farm them with march was completly unknown to them. with these two guys you will never ever want to play on the same random team because they think they know everything while actually beeing really really bad. if -CM has more of these kind of people, i would highy recommend not to play this mode. | ||

Meh I am pretty down to earth, I know I don't know everything I just want to know if I am improving in a game and have something to show for the time spent playing it. After 1500 hours of Dota 2 Valve isn't really delivering anything that does that. | ||

i just don't get it : you are not a pro, you never will be able to become (or want to) a pro, but u play 1H15 game with 20 mins useless at the beginning to feel like a pro ahaha | ||

Back when I started yadda yadda yadda... Dota is inherently a teamgame. Either you find others to talk about obscure things you can do with,(i.e. reading forums like this one) or you try to progress to 5 manning. You're not really progressing as a player if you don't properly coordinate with 4 other guys. Pubs are for a lot of people about fun first(picking whatever), and winning secondary. If you don't know anyone who plays Dota, then go find some. Just message people and stuff. It's the internet, nobody cares if you message 10, 100 or over 9000 random people before you get 4 teammates together. | ||
