I guess the old VP was the most dominant? Because iirc they didn't lose for like 2 years at all. And second thing, are ACE/G-league considered the most prestigious tournaments in DotA, akin to OSL/MSL? EHOME has the most accomplishments, but LGD.sGty in early 2010 was the most dangerous team I've ever seen play. In the first four months of that year, they made beating EHOME and the other best Chinese teams look easier than EHOME made beating western teams.

Buyback without cooldown looked fun. GL pushing, hoho. Also damn was visage the same as he is now in terms of spells in 6.68? Because in the VOD I watched he only had 2 familiars, I know china liked the old visage but didn't realize they picked this new version as well.

Chinese teams still picked Visage a ton after the rework because Soul Assumption mana cost was insane in trilanes. The mana cost started at 100 (and from 6.66 to 6.68 was actually a FLAT 100 at all ranks), making it insanely spammable.

Reminds me of when Rubick's Fadebolt was 100 mana, had insane range and did more damage.

Insane damage early on. Maybe not that specific to trilanes, but still so strong of a hero. But then again with how much success TL is having with visage in offensive trilanes, that crown might've not been lost(but again it's in conjunction with a kotl huehue). also Yango, 100 mana at all ranks sounds insane. I guess he kinda needs a kotl now for all the spam.

Year ago Tobi would break 10k if NaVi was playing, maybe. I know people are playing I'm reffering to it's online presence on non tournament streams, just seems abysmal.

edit: with outside of tournaments you mean Dota 2 is about head to head against the brand new expansion to the premier RTS title in the world without its most popular streamers. Hardly a tragedy.

People are just elitist and only wanna watch pro streams. LoL viewers seem to give others a chance. But all the popular streams have way more viewers than ever.
