Some guy I played against claimed to be maphacking. His team said he was as well, and he seemed to have a very strange grasp of where things were on the map, but I don't have any proof. Either way, it hasn't really become an issue yet.

Would be pretty easy to get proof though. Just watch the replay on player perspective.

Also I'm not sure how you would make a maphack for dota2. Were there any in HoN? If Valve's doing their job right you'd have to get server access somehow, so any major hacks like anyone can get for SC2 won't exist. Well, hopefully.

Doesn't bots move constantly like that at the start anyway? Shitty quality so can't read the names of the opponents. Most likely a virus or some other that he is promoting with the video.

He is just loading up the replay and has removed the timer thingo. its dumb and i REALLY hope noone falls for it.

Frenzy(100% attack speed, but takes more damage), chain lightning, his current passive and a 50(at lvl 1) damage in 1000 aoe every 2.5 seconds ultimate. Was the go to carry for bad players. Just get a radiance to show everyone you can't actually lasthit yourself and need all the help you can get. The old lightning strike thing isn't an aura. It only hit one target ^_^ If it does damage it can't be an aura basically. Exception being if some hero had a reverse unholy aura. Considering Necro has this already as a normal skill essentially; you'd be getting gimped hard if you had it as an ultimate.

Building damage and immolation are both auras. that deal damage. And razors old ulti did hit everything in an aoe. this is back when razor was frenzy chain lightning and unholy aura

Building damage is utilized as a placeholder effect to make the engine work. Do you consider wildkin Tornado an aura just because it utilizes building damage? Tornado is an active ability that you cast, not an aura. All these have the same end result anyways: damage. Which one you use is completely irrelevant. I'll cede the razor argument merely because I didn't play enough dota back then to actually remember exactly how it worked. I remember it hitting a random target nearby with lightning which is certainly not an aura. If it hit everything in an AoE (do damage) then it shouldn't be an aura. If you have to press a button to unleash it then isn't an aura. If it just randomly goes out (or is based on some timing) then I'd still hesitate to call it an aura, but without knowing exactly how it works I won't say absolutely not.

Razors had like 3 reworks xD not anything you can blame for getting them mixed up. it was permanent immolation type thing with a delay on the ticks instead of just per second.

What are your thoughts on this hero? Has anyone else played around with him in CM?

I think he's kind of situational mid (a bit like Nyx), or he'll play a 4 positiong in a trilane vs trilane situation. What are your thoughts on this hero? Has anyone else played around with him in CM? they weakened silencer in team fights to make his laning stronger, and people didn't pick him before despite decent laning and strong team fight, now that he has only his ultimate for team fights he's not really much more than a pub character or 1 position carry in specific situations
